Africa's richest man, Aliko Dangote, has revealed that he does not own a single house outside Nigeria. Speaking at a recent media parley, Dangote explained that he prefers staying in hotels abroad to avoid the "distractions" and maintenance costs of owning foreign mansions, allowing him to focus entirely on industrializing Nigeria. ​He clarified that his only personal homes are in Lagos and Kano, while he stays in a rented apartment whenever he is in Abuja.
