“way more talented” 💀 a few weeks ago league execs said JB isn’t a top 50 player. wouldn’t be a top 7 player on any team, can’t go left, thinks he’s greater than he actually is. and embiid???? are we still hanging on to the MVP season? that was how many injuries ago? so that leaves maxey and VJ who is going into his 2nd year. that didn’t seem so “talented” to everyone else until last week. i wonder what caused such a shift

@Bryce_Estelle Huh? Nobody is talking about KD bud. Original post says Steph. KD was 1 ring of the 4… Bron winning a ring this year would be just like the ring KD got. Way more talent than everyone else.

Talib Kweli & Tef Poe SPEAK on J. Cole: “J. Cole is one of the COLDEST to ever do it. I know a lot of people talk a lot of SMACK about [Cole] but he’s a beautiful lyricist. He’s so foundationally sound on what he writes.” They go on to praise Cole for studying the CRAFT & watching MC Content. “J. Cole did what a lot of us independent/underground artists would want to do.” Via - LEMME ASK YOU THIS

which is why dame should’ve said screw it they ain’t doing right by me, and they shipped his only help in CJ. he could’ve went to the lakers if he signed off on it that russ trade package would’ve got sent to portland and him being a home town kid…i ain’t gone lie uncomfortable conversations would’ve been had regarding PG discussions

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb That was DIRTY too because the owner that passed promised he’d get Dame where he wanted to go IF it ever came down to that. So yeah, doing the most loyal player prolly ever in NBA history like that was definitely foul man

cuz atleast in miami like ik pat not gone tolerate staying stale, in my mind i think some uncomfortable conversations would’ve been had with wade cuz of health at the time. either a huge pay cut or sum else, and maybe bron saw the writing on the wall like they wouldn’t do that to d wade (they ultimately did years later)

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb Yo bro…. You LITERALLY see it the way I see it when it comes to Bron/Miami. He dipped instead of seeing it through. That’s a place he could’ve kept building on for soooooo long. I’ll knock him for that lol I understand leaving Cavs first time tho fasho

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb I also wouldn’t say Dirk is better but I respect Dirk’s ring and finals runs more than KD’s. Can’t say he’s better overall tho lol never that

and even though he didn’t want to leave he still said if i was to leave i’d like to go to miami, and they shipped him to milwaukee where he wasn’t happy 💀 (another example of loyalty being overhyped) if you gone do right by your franchise player that held it down you’d atleast make amends and let send him to where he desires. but the organization did what’s best for them (as they should) which is why the loyalty part on players only is dumb

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb Dame gon get his respect. Real ones know. You included lol. That’s a player I’ll always respect for being happy where he was and trying his hardest to get it done in Portland. I really respect it man. Blazers did him wrong, he never wanted to leave lol they worked it out tho

that’s what i’m saying but when it comes to bron leaving cleveland like the GM was ass and him and bron had a severed relationship. which is probably the worst place to be as a organization when your star player and GM not seeing eye to eye. and a city like cleveland will always struggle to attract FAs, so if the team isn’t drafting well, or trading you literally stuck in purgatory. my only knock on bron when it comes to leaving a situation was leaving miami because it felt too soon like it’s miami pat riley etc, i think they could’ve re-tooled. but once i saw he was going back home it made perfect sense

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb That’s why I say context matters for sure. If Giannis was happy in Milwaukee and never won a ring again, I wouldn’t kill him for staying but I understand at least wanting to compete. He saw it through as long as he could and held it down for his teammates. You get it

Mychal Thompson (2x Lakers champ) on ESPN LA calling out Lakers fans booing LeBron's decision, 'they're idiots': "If any Laker fans are offended, or bothered by LeBron's decision, they're all a bunch of hypocrites and they're idiots. Think about it, every one of us has made a decision, a business decision to better ourselves, to put ourselves in a better situation, to go to another job that's better for us or our family. That's all LeBron is doing, putting himself in a better situation. He thinks he can win a fifth ring, playing with a big four in Philadelphia. And we've all changed jobs. We've all taken another job because we thought it was a better situation for us or for our family. So that's all these athletes are doing, deciding to go work somewhere else because it's better for them and their family. And every one of the Lakers fans, I'm sure who boo him, if they do it, have made that decision themselves in their professional lives. So they boo LeBron because he decided to go work someplace else? They're hypocrites. Because I'm sure most of us, 99% of us have done that. Let's stop being so offended and sensitive about it."

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb Context to everything. Dame is the greatest Blazer of all time. I, personally, also never really said anything about “Loyalty.” I know how it can go today. Every situation is different. I do appreciate an organization and player trying to figure it out through their career tho

there’s other routes to take to put pressure on a front office. i admire loyalty when it makes sense. but theirs a thin line between loyalty and stupidity though, an organization can draft you and promise you XYZ and do the complete opposite. atp you have to be loyal to you and what you want. and i’ll keep using luka for example, bro got traded overnight without a phone call. in the name of “loyalty” and he felt stupid dame stayed in portland for however and ended up back there. but years from now he will be undermined for not winning anything but hey he stayed loyal to a organization that didn’t do right by him

@DeeBee2102 @feebeegb Nah bro, Duncan literally was about to sign with the Magic under Doc lol. I also think Kobe never REALLY wanted to leave, just wanted better players there in LA so he could continue competing. Thank God the front office responded to the pressure

learn some new everyday. another 90% loyal star then. just goes to show the “loyalty” thing in sports is so overrated because again it’s a one way street. it takes 2 sides for a relationship to start, but it only takes one (front office) to end it. ask luka how he feels about loyalty, or demar, JB, list goes on.

Brian Windhorst on Charles Barkley comments saying LeBron James stacks every team he goes to: “Where does Charles and the legends want LeBron to go? Do they want him to go to the G League? Because if he went to Cleveland is that team stacked? Is Miami with Bam Adebayo and Giannis Antetokounmpo is that team stacked? Jokic and Jamal Murray is that team stacked? Ant Edwards, Rudy Gobert I don’t know he left Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves is that not? I don’t understand the premise of the complaint.”
NBA Courtside@NBA__Courtside

Charles Barkley says LeBron James always stacks his team after going to Philly: “The number one knock on LeBron for older guys like myself has always been, “Yo, man, you always stacking your team.” He stacked in Miami. He stacked in Cleveland. He stacked in LA. Now he’s stacking it in Philly. So that to me, I’m going to still have the same criticism I’ve always had.” (Via @stephenasmith)
