The fight for lasting peace cannot be won alone. That’s why we’re here. President @ZelenskyyUa and I spoke in Kyiv. I told him that Canada will always have Ukraine’s back. I shared new military support from Canada to help Ukraine secure lasting peace and defend its sovereignty. And in response to Russia’s efforts to escape accountability for their war, I announced Canada’s new sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet: ships used to evade Western sanctions and keep illegally exporting Russian oil to the world. Ukrainians deserve to live in a strong democracy, free from Russian aggression — and Canada will stand side-by-side with them until that’s achieved.

This decision was made behind closed doors & without public consultation. On behalf of the residents of Ward 15 who overwhelmingly support this key local institution, I’m calling on the Province to provide an updated cost analysis & engage with the community.

We’ve heard loud & clear from Torontonians that they want the Ontario Science Centre to remain in its current location. The Auditor General’s findings indicate that the Province’s relocation plans will cost MORE than reopening the existing building. globalnews.ca/news/10899041/…
