The disrespect of women in this community is indeed sad. Over the years, when Chelsea and I are sitting somewhere, there have been dozens of chasers (men) who come up to say hi to me and completely ignore her, like blatantly. Noone is asking for a red carpet welcome, but some of you cant even be bothered to simply smile and say hi back. Its pathetic. Its been bugging me for a couple years but Ive kept my mouth shut until now. If this is who you are as a person, dont even bother saying hi to me.

@DeeJayShuga If any supercells can initiate in the afternoon/evening, it is possible. The big question is IF they will fire that far south, or if the coverage will be more focused on far Northern Illinois

The CSU-guidance shows a majority of lower mi under a 30% severe risk non-hatched. However, a more SIG chance and higher chance being shown in IA/IL. Severe risk continues INCREASING for lower MI and the rest of the Midwest. #miwx

Very aggressive men, didnt have the balls to say anything in person, did laps & screeched tires, hanging out of windows, saying "fuuuuck youuu he's your PRESIDENT!" Was nervous they'd drive on the sidewalk or throw bottles, angrier with each lap.

@BeingJWood They were bad here today. Far less of them than last time but the ones that still were were far more aggressive. Just gave us the bird or blew smoke last time. Today hanging out windows screaming vulgar and racist and violent statements.

Past No Kings had MAGA driving by in big, loud trucks displaying Trump flags flipping everyone off, revving their engines and giving protesters the middle finger. This time I didn’t see any MAGA the whole time. Something has changed.

@Moonlight_myths Redhead here. 2 parents w/ black hair, brother w/ red hair, brother w/ black hair. My mom's dad a redhead, her mom black hair. My husband w/ black hair, daughter & son born red & fell out, then black, now red. Our youngest born w/ black hair fell out, then black, and now red.

My sister gave birth to a red-haired daughter. But she and her husband are both dark-haired. No one in our family has red hair. My sister insists that her husband's great-grandfather was red-haired, and that's how it was passed down. Her husband didn't believe her, especially since she has this one red-haired colleague at work. Anyway, he insisted on a DNA test, which they did after huge fights and screaming matches. My sister threw the paper in his face. It showed 99.9% he's the father. But he still doesn't believe it, says the test could have been faked or someone paid off the lab. He wants to do another one at a different lab, but my sister is afraid this will definitely lead them to divorce He's not even talking to my sister right now. But he says it's better to find out the truth and live with a clear conscience. He doesn't want to raise someone else's child. I believe my sister 100%, but I have to admit the situation is pretty bizarre. Does anyone know anything about genetics?

@oldscarf1stweek I'm in Bourbonnais and watched that curl on the radar, grabbed helmets and hard hats for my kids. I've never been so grateful. But it did hit "our town" as we're all one big area together, I'm heartbroken for everyone else. Omg are we lucky here on the north side of things <3

Eventually the luck will run out. Maybe 2-3 miles North and we’re talking about a very different scenario with a intense+ tornado traversing into densely populated neighborhoods.

This is stopped at 7pm this evening across northern Illinois. Models are now showing an extremely dangerous scenario with multiple intense supercells ongoing. These start developing around 2-4pm and really mature early this evening. Along I-80 REALLY needs to monitor the weather today. This is a very scary outlook with an environment extremely primed for tornadoes and very large hail. #ilwx

reason I keep posting about Bloomington is this location is just upstream from the initial start of the event. If the storms are moving into/near this environment, thats just an unbelievable scenario especially if a cell can stay discrete from 4-7pm.

My fiancé and I have been together for 7 years, and until recently I believed I’d spend my life with him. Last week we were drunk, playing a couples question game, when the question “What are you most ashamed of?” came up. After I answered, he said, “I should tell you this before we get married,” and admitted that when he was 14, when he molesed his 6 year-old male cousin twice. He said he’s lived with guilt ever since and hopes his cousin doesn’t remember it. At first, I comforted him. I’ve always believed in being a safe space for my partner. But as the days passed, I started feeling sick. I’m now uncomfortable being intimate with him, and I can’t stop thinking about it. I remember being 14 and knowing basic right from wrong, and that’s what keeps bothering me. Then he confided In me saying he looks at my beices and nephews and There are things I don’t even know how to say out loud. What scares me most is thinking about the times he’s been around my nieces and nephews. I feel physically ill wondering if I missed something. In my family, we worked hard to break generational cycles, and the idea that I could unknowingly allow harm to continue terrifies me. My sister would never forgive me and I wouldn’t forgive myself. I can’t talk to anyone about this without destroying his life, but staying silent feels just as wrong. I don’t know how to face his family, see his cousin, or move forward knowing what I know now. I feel scared, sick, and completely lost.
