@jamesstout Guarantee 90+% of people with these takes also claim to support criminal rehabilitation but don't see the irony
English

I’m not going to engage with the idiot YouTuber takes on this. Swing killing and dying fucks you up. People make choices in their 20s that they later regret, we should want them to reflect on those and get better.

Holy fucking shit. From Platner’s interview with the NYT.

@ArmedJ0y If it's any consolation I think things are heavily changing. Almost every lib in my life has basically 180'd on firearms in the past 5 years

@babadookspinoza If you live somewhere so dangerous that you carry a weapon and believe you may need to break someones legs then you should carry a gun
English

@Empty_America I feel like the whole situation is showing how many people really don't take the responsibility of gun ownership seriously. Like lots of guys just fantasize about having the excuse to finally do it
I genuinely pray that I never have to use mine on someone
English

Many don't understand that shooting another man for punching you has ALWAYS been very dicey legally, and if anything the old cases are more against it.
You probably get away with it in a best case scenario, like where you were randomly/unexpectedly attacked by a huge assailant on your way to work.
But it's always marginal at best, anything where you were beefing with someone, provoking, you are cruising for manslaughter or attempted murder charges.
It's sort of a "gun culture myth" that there is some ancient legal right to use deadly force in response to any type of physical contact.
English

@GBNT1952 He's a terrible guy, but really how do you have the dissonance to not acknowledge and reflect how many on the right are in your comments cheering him on?
I feel like it should provoke reflection on how common these beliefs are becoming
English

Chud is a racist career criminal.
He is also probably funded by Democrats to make “the right” look bad.
He is not on the right and does not share any values with conservatives.
You don’t provoke people while armed and then get to claim you are defending yourself.
Thats literally conceal and carry 101.
He’s a narcissist.
He’s a sociopath.
And now he’s charged with serious crimes that will leave him bankrupt at the very least and likely in prison for many years.
He brought this on himself by his own actions.
He is in the finding out portion, and anyone that feels sorry for him is an idiot.
English

@DangerFreedom25 @GBNT1952 These hypotheticals don't really matter when the prosecution prints out a tweet of him saying "I'm premeditating"

English

@GBNT1952 That's just not true. I can tell you to fuck off, flip you the bird, and no intention of physically fighting you. If you physically assault me, I am allowed to defend myself. It's still defense. At no time we're my actions physically offensive.
English

This is the same sad, stupid statement these idiots keep coming at me with…
No, the other person will likely be charged with assault as well, but if your words were said to intentionally provoke a response from someone while you are armed, especially while you are concealing a firearm, and then you use your weapon on them, your claim of self defense goes out the window.
This is clearly covered in every single CCW class in this country.
This is only hard to understand if you are a complete moron.
Tobias@hostileunivers
@GBNT1952 @MarchelSeth So words now give people the right to assault you?
English

@funnyandfabss It's literally all the performance of emotion. Just pure empty consumption. There's no creasing of the eyes, just a soulless emulation because they have nothing of meaning in their lives other than consumption and they themselves being consumed by social media
English

@PopTingz Incredible bit, all of the Nigerian and Indian grifting accounts celebrating this because they think conversion therapy is the same thing as transitioning

@JoshuaBailey184 Just sent this to the family group chat to stir the pot

@MinModulation The way this is worded, 29 seconds better be life changing.

Are you fucking kidding me

NOW - Trump says it's good to have 500,000 foreign Chinese students in the U.S. and for China to purchase U.S. farmland; otherwise, colleges and farm prices would collapse: "I frankly think that it's good that people come from other countries and they learn our culture."
English

@Fullautotaco @CultLaser @Kronykal In the country. There are nearly 6 million republicans there who functionally do not exist in presidential elections. I certainly am not pro-Republican, but I do think those people deserve to have their voices heard just as much as my own
English

@Fullautotaco @CultLaser @Kronykal That's not really true though. As it currently stands candidates already almost exclusively campaign in only the handful of swing states
And going with a national popular votes would make every state important. For example, California has the largest population of republicans
English

Abolishing the Electoral College would trigger a war. Period. It is the one thing I would absolutely take up arms over.
Pat Adams@PatAdams96
Kamala Harris is now calling for Democrats to hold a “No Bad Idea Brainstorm” where they discuss: - Abolishing the Electoral College - Packing the Supreme Court - Making Puerto Rico and D.C. states “We’ve got to neutralize these red states from cheating!”

@bigbobbootleg @0hour1 He literally used the word "premeditated" to describe what he was doing lol

English

@0hour1 How can it be premeditated if the guy followed him there on purpose to attack chud? It was premeditated on the other guys end.
English

@YoungMOOBY @planefag I'm not a lawyer, but there's no way this doesn't get shown to the jury

English

I would need to see the fact of the case first, and maybe there were some premeditated factors. However, I would believe it may come down to who instigated this specific altercation. If it was Chud who moved onto the Man first to start calling him names or whatever, that doesn't look good, and it would be a strong case against him, given his previous antics. However, if the Man ran onto Chud on his own accord to confront Chud, and Chud called him names after that, being expressive shouldn't waive his defence here.
I think it'll come down to who started the interaction.
