This morning at 4:30a.m., CAL FIRE, Coastside Fire Engine 40, Engine 41, Engine 44, and Coastside Fire Volunteers had a busy start to the day with a structure fire in Half Moon Bay. The blaze was quickly extinguished. 🙀 But the real adventure began after the smoke cleared. Coastside Fire Crews were on a mission: helping the homeowners find their missing eleven cats. It took some serious searching, but thanks to their amazing efforts, all eleven were found and safely reunited. Strong work from the Coastside firefighters! 🚒

That afternoon, I got another photo of a sea otter on a surfboard, which Shmuel hasn’t been able to capture yet, but this consolation prize is better than what he was hoping for 👏
