Hi @RockstarGames, I officially give you permission to drop GTA 6 Trailer 3 and open Pre-Orders on Monday. You may proceed accordingly.

@thegta6hermit There’s a big game coming out next Tuesday for Forza Horizon 6 so I don’t see them dropping pre-orders or a trailer on the same day, or would they do that?

Here’s what I predict Rockstar will do in the next days: Tomorrow (Friday) - Confirmation of pre-orders to boost hype during the weekend Monday - Pre-orders go live Monday/Tuesday - Trailer 3 with the “PRE-ORDER NOW” CTA at the end of it.

I see a lot of people still saying that GTA 6 Trailer 3 will go live on May 19th. If pre orders drop on the 18th that makes no sense. There is no way the drop pre orders before a trailer. Right? Am I crazy?

@zapactugta6 I am guessing full marketing will truly start when the World Cup ends in July, it wouldn’t make sense to release trailers and preorders while the world is all watching soccer

If GTA 6 Trailer 3 is actually dropping on Tuesday the 12th like a lot of people are predicting, and it’s not a surprise drop. We could literally get an announcement today or tomorrow. It was a Thursday announcement for the GTA V character trailers. And the announcement for GTA 6 Trailer 1 came on a Friday. Do you think they will announce it first?

Trailer 3 will drop on May 12. Trailer 2 dropped on May 6, 2025 ~ 9 days before the earnings call that was on May 15 May 12, 2026 is 9 days before the May 21 earnings call. See you next week ✌️

Take-Two’s earnings call is set for Thursday, May 21. GTA 6 could be confirmed as still on track for its November 19, 2026 release. With May marking one year since Trailer 2 and Rockstar’s last major update, they typically drop news ahead of earnings calls.

One day we will all be going about our business as usual. And Rockstar Games will randomly drop GTA 6 Trailer 3. What an epic day that will be. It’s now just a question of when.

Around this time in 2018, Take-Two confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 wouldn’t be delayed again. They have just done the exact same thing for GTA 6. We WILL be playing GTA6 on November 19, 2026.

Rockstar Games need to drop Trailer 3 an hour worth of gameplay and regular monthly updates for GTA 6! It’s the only way to make up for this delay!

Some people are still worried that GTA VI will be delayed, but Take-Two has now twice reassured investors that the game is still on track for Fall 2025. If a delay was coming, they wouldn’t have doubled down on that timeline. At this point, there’s no reason to panic.

The time between the first and second trailers for recent Rockstar Games releases was 11-12 months. It’s now been 4 months since the first GTA VI trailer…
