Here I'll help: Your clan gets horribly slaughtered and scattered to the wind in a tumultuous political environment. Some sort of Gods or something resurrect you, and give you cool powers. They tell you to do good in the world. You set out to find your scattered brethren and rebuild your clan, seeking justice while also trying to save the world from some sort of impending dimensional world ending cataclysm. All the while you do lots of quests, an insane amount of quests, helping the people of the realm from Dukes to local blacksmiths. You hunt outlaws for bounty, build idols to boost the people's morale, repair burned down buildings, all while doing a hundred other things. In other words, the game is really good. The story and side quest stuff it not even sub-par, it just isn't the best part of the game...which is fine, since the "best" parts are quite hard to beat. But it's all irrelevant, because the game is a huge commercial success now, and because of that we will get more games like it. And in the end, that's what I care about the most.
