1/ Here we see a pair of Russian Naval Aviation (MA VMF) Su-30SM2 multirole fighters. Judging by their paint scheme, which differs from that of older SM2s, these two aircraft are from the latest batch (very recently delivered to the MA VMF).

🚨🚨🚨 The frigate 🇷🇺 NEUSTRASHIMY appears to have temporarily relieved 🇷🇺 ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH in the English Channel.
🚢🔁 Over the past few days, while ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH was operating in the Atlantic, the Baltic Fleet frigate NEUSTRASHIMY took over escorting the Kremlin's shadow fleet through the English Channel.
⚠️ ADMIRAL GRIGOROVICH has now returned to the English Channel. Is she about to resume escorting Russian shadow fleet tankers, as she had been doing since early April?

🚨🚨🚨 The sanctioned cargo ship 🇷🇺 MIKHAIL BRITNEV (IMO 9081370) arrived in 🇹🇬 Lome this morning.
🇸🇳❌ The vessel departed Kaliningrad with Dakar listed as its initial destination but ultimately docked in Lome, Togo.
Notably, MIKHAIL BRITNEV switched off its AIS on 23 June and only reactivated it upon arrival today.
During its voyage, the cargo vessel was escorted by the Russian Navy landing ship 🇷🇺 ALEKSANDR SHABALIN.
⚠️ What makes this port call particularly interesting is that MIKHAIL BRITNEV has previously been linked to deliveries of military equipment to Africa, typically calling at Conakry or Dakar.
So why Lome this time? 🤔

The ADMIRAL NAKHIMOV is a Russian Kirov-class nuclear-powered heavy battlecruiser, and at 251 meters, is one of the largest surface combatants in the world. On the 14th of June 2026, SynMax's maritime domain awareness platform, Theia, detected the warship operating in the White Sea during what is reported to be the final phase of her sea trials.
Commissioned in 1988 and last operational in 1997, the vessel has spent much of the intervening period laid up at the Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk, Russia, undergoing a modernization programme. She departed from Severodvinsk in late May 2026, reportedly with the goal of returning to service with Russia's Northern Fleet. Although no AIS signals were received from the vessel, Theia consistently detected her throughout the trial programme.
Theia ingests more than 40 million km² of satellite imagery daily, fusing electro-optical and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery with global AIS to automatically detect, identify, and track tens of thousands of vessels, regardless of AIS output. Monitoring strategic assets such as the ADMIRAL NAKHIMOV daily establishes a clear pattern of life against which any change in activity stands out, providing early warning to decision-makers.

USF Struck a Svetlyak-Class Patrol Ship, a Pantsir-S1 Air Defense System, an RSBN-4N Navigation System, Logistics Assets, and Other Enemy Targets Operation highlights: 🎯 In temporarily occupied Crimea, operators of the @1usc_army struck a Project 10410 Svetlyak-class border patrol ship used for coastal patrol and maritime surveillance missions. • In Kherson Oblast, operators of the @1usc_army destroyed a Pantsir-S1 air defense missile and gun system, one of the key components of the enemy's air defense network. • In temporarily occupied Crimea, operators of the @1usc_army struck an RSBN-4N short-range radio navigation system used to support enemy aviation. • In temporarily occupied Crimea, operators of the @Raid_413 struck locomotives used to sustain enemy military logistics. • In Donetsk Oblast, operators of the @k_2army Brigade struck transformers supporting enemy military infrastructure. • Also in Donetsk Oblast, operators of the 1st Separate Center struck fuel storage tankers. Some of these vessels, particularly SPARTA, have been linked to military logistics and arms transport routes.
While 🇪🇬 Port Said is declared, the destination is likely 🇸🇾 Tartus naval base, as often observed.
A dedicated escort for what remains a logistics convoy, or a sign the cargo is too sensitive to move unprotected?

After accompanying the sanctioned tankers 🇷🇺 KOLODKIN, UNIVERSAL and GEFEST, the frigate has remained on station since completing its last escort.
Is it awaiting additional shadow fleet tankers?
The sustained deployment of a frontline warship in tanker escort roles suggests these transits are not considered low-risk.
