Tata Advanced Systems Limited has rolled out the first Airbus C295 aircraft from its Final Assembly Line (FAL) facility in Vadodara, Gujarat. This marks the first time a private Indian company has established and operationalised a complete military aircraft final assembly line in the country. The C-295 program is being executed in partnership with Airbus for the Indian Air Force under the ₹21,000+ cR transport aircraft deal signed in 2021. Under the program: • First 16 aircraft are being delivered in fly-away condition from Spain • Remaining 40 aircraft will be manufactured in India at the Vadodara facility (📹VAMSHI goud)

With this successful trial of Agni MIRV, India once again demonstrated the capability to target multiple strategic targets using a single missile system. The telemetry and tracking was carried out by multiple ground and ship-based stations. These systems tracked the entire missile trajectory from lift-off till the impact of all payloads. Flight data confirmed that all mission objectives were met during the trial.

India successfully tested an advanced Agni missile with MIRV capability from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island, Odisha on May 08, 2026 🇮🇳 The missile reportedly carried multiple independently targetable payloads (#MIRV) against geographically distributed targets across the Indian Ocean Region. MIRV capability is a major strategic leap. Instead of a single warhead, one missile can deploy multiple independently guided re-entry vehicles toward separate targets, significantly complicating enemy missile defence systems. The test also validates advances in: • Post-boost vehicle control • Re-entry vehicle separation • Precision guidance • Long-range mission management A major milestone in India’s strategic deterrence architecture.
