I’m not okay. But I’m not quitting either. I’m still here because I believe in what I am building. So no codes today. Just my truth. (PS: If you know anyone hiring a Devrel, please share this with him/her) I left college in late 2023. Why? Because in Nigeria, while trying to submit my assignment, I was being told to write code on a sheet of paper, after coding since 2017, building webpages using CMS and vanillaJS. I told my dad this: “If I’m still writing code on paper in college, then I doubt the Nigerian education system is built for me.” So I bet on myself. I went deep into Web3, and everything changed. In 3 years, I’ve: – Led DevRel @_one_dev – Helped onboard devs across Africa – Joined @AlchemyLearn as the first West African ambassador – Interned as DevRel @monad_xyz – Presented a workshop at @ETHSafari – Contributed to Base/Coinbase UXR, thanks to @natago – Shipped, Taught, and still Advocating. All without VC funding or big backers. Just grit, community, and late nights. I don’t want pity. I’m not begging. Can I back all of this up? yes! I have social proof. You might ask, "Why not just build your product?" I believe a lot in building solid products that solve problems, but I love what I do as a DevRel more. Why Web3? Growing up in Nigeria, I’ve seen broken systems and lived uncertainty. I believe builders deserve better. I’m not okay, burnout and challenges hit hard, but I’m not quitting. I’m here for impact, not hype. I’m seeking a full-time DevRel role, remote or local. If you value developer empathy, technical clarity, and real impact, let’s connect. Portfolio: defidevrel.xyz This is a long shot, but if you believe Web3 needs authentic voices, I’m showing up. Not begging, just asking for a chance to keep building. TLDR: Devrel Advocate with 8 years of experience in both web2 & web3. Looking for a full-time DevRel role.

My money is also on reforming @baseposting who has not helped to scale @base The only meaningful thing it has done is to give anon CT/shill a badge of @coinbase affiliation who has done more harm to Coinbase reputation than good. Time to cleanse is now.

the eth core devs don’t tweet a lot about just how hard the work that they do is so let’s talk about it: 1. every line of code they merge can move more money than most banks process in a quarter. there is no staging server for that. 2. they swap consensus logic for a 400B + dollar economy without scheduling downtime. ever. 3. they coordinate hundreds of researchers, auditors, and client teams across time zones, cultures, and philosophies, yet ship like a single mind. 4. they do it all in public, with every decision dissected by the loudest peanut gallery on the internet, and still keep the vibe collaborative. 5. they design for attackers who have nine figure incentives and infinite patience. then they sleep anyway. 6. they keep six independent clients in perfect sync so the same block lives at the same height for every node in the world. 7. they turn bleeding edge research into production code while preserving backwards compatibility for machines that went online before defi even had a name. 8. they debug issues that only happen once a year on a single archive node because someone somewhere will rely on that edge case. 9. they write cryptography that must stay unbroken for decades while the math itself evolves beneath their feet. 10.when the upgrade lands smooth the outside world shrugs. inside ethereum we know it was a minor miracle. every successful fork proves that decentralized coordination can outperform the world’s best hierarchies and shows that open internet capital markets are now the default. thank you, truly. we owe you everything.

SwapKit processed $189/sec in Q1 — every second, 24/7/365. No banker hours. No weekends off. Just continuous, real on-chain volume. That’s ~$16.3M/day flowing through a fully non-custodial execution layer.

field notes from changing how we operate with AI 1. Go deep, but only incrementally Full automation is a time suck, delays value delivery, delays feedback on how what is actually valuable, and is also an indication you've been nerd sniped. Find the fastest way to solve the problem. Then use it and find the next problem or step you want to automate or augment. Find the fastest way to do that. rinse and repeat This also protects you from massive churn due to the release of a pre-built better solution, model, or even willingness to pay for compute of the company you're at.
