i guess this is now somewhat of a contrarian take and probably what's needed for it to actually happen, but i think everything runs at some point like it did at the end of 2017, beginning of 2021, end of 2023, etc. i don't think something fundamentally changed, humans are still greedy. there's dispersion until there isn't, money has to go somewhere and ends up getting desperate going into less than interesting opportunities when the best ones are getting expensive (BTC, ETH, HYPE, etc.) a lot of alts i'm tracking are basically basing since either march or april. the longer the base, the bigger the breakout. i think we definitely see gains that surprise the average CT participant if/when we break to the upside. the r/r for being there when it happens is what justifies being in this industry imo. don't sleep at the wheel if you see an uptrend forming in alts. there's plenty of way you can play it will keeping your risk low: long the bottom of the range with an invalidation below, long the breakout/retest of the top of the range with an invalidation when back in the range, trend follow a basic moving average when in or above the range, etc. if we see dog shit alts breaking to the upside of their range, new stuff will probably outperforms (*cough* pumpfun) and esoteric stuff will probably gives crazy multiples. maybe some zora or timefun stuff? i don't know what the meta will be, but it should get clear when it comes (charts are just random alts from my watchlist, not endorsing any in particular. most of them look pretty much the same) my 2c ✌️
