I'm so bullish on @sappyseals that I have invested all the college funds of my son.
What purpose could have college if you will be a wealthy full time breeder on @ThePixlverse ?
You're welcome, kid.

@SchwartzTichon @PicturesFoIder Thanks for the detailed response! I always appreciate learning something new.
I'll be including this as a side note in lectures next semester.

1. The word site is tricky. Conventional antibodies have 3 CDRs (for the purpose of this explanation - loops that stick out of the protein) on each chain and 4 chains (two heavy and two light), so in total, 12 "sites," but it doesn't mean that each is binding separately... Heavy chain antibodies (HCAB, like those in camelids and sharks) have only two heavy chains, those chains are relatively similar to conventional heavy chains.
2. I have not studied many other components, let alone those of sharks and camelids, but the activation of most of the other components only depends on the heavy chain still there.

@krishnanrohit 100% unimpressed - 100% not "amazing" tf

@SchwartzTichon @PicturesFoIder Interesting... so only one binding site per Ab? I assume this also applies to their BCRs? Do other components of the immune system which may depend on Ab activation - like the complement system - operate differently in sharks/ camels?
So many questions....
English

@PicturesFoIder Fun fact:
Sharks and camels (and close species) share a unique similarity that is present only in them among all vertebrates. Both have heavy chain only antibodies, with many advantages over the antibodies we have. Their antibodies are heavily used in research and medicine.

@Willy_wonka_ws I actually showed this image to my students today just before they took their finals.
Persistence is hard - this image is motivating.

@DefiHigherEd @ThePixlverse stonkrates.gitbook.io/pixlverse-guid…
I wrote this guide on pet rarity! Feel free to reach out if you want more thoughts tho

I'm a gamer - @ThePixlverse is what brought me into the NFT space and I am pleased to see that devs are building through the bear.
great thread @Stonkrates - any alpha on team building? I want to go shopping for some pixl pets
Dr. Stonkrates, Ph.D. 🛡️@stonkrates
Today I got to play the Pixl Pets alpha for the first time. I can’t share any screenshots, but keep an eye out for a dev blog within the next week or so. For now, here are some initial thoughts based on what I’ve experienced and conversations with devs: 🧵 👇

@DefiHigherEd She was such a good puppy!!
I’ve literally never needed a leash outside with her. Right from when I got her she’s just followed me around and if I ever call her back she comes right away, never sent her to any type of school.
They love to cuddle and run!

Why was @Grammarly just blacklisted by @NSHE? It feels like oppression of AI tech at the state level and that makes me feel uncomfortable.
Could either @grammerly or @NSHE explain please? Thanks!
