@wsbmod @udiWertheimer @izebel_eth @0xMerp this is prob true but the real future is nanotech / brain implants that has true implicit understanding of the requirements that a person needs to achieve their required tasks (whether creative or not) and then automatically builds it much further out than 2 years tho, maybe 10

its a strange feeling having a novel/informed take slowly just become completely mainstream consensus

@veH0rny @RaReAlt @heart_ @0xGoogly @tmnxeq yeah thats the pt, robinhood users just want levg and otm weekly calls/puts are their only options, they dont know what greeks or IV or anything they just fking slamming high delta, if perps existed on robinhood options would have 0 volume

@wholisticguy @ProofOfEly hyperliquid really is just ftx without the scammery, the UX is basically the same and they would list hot onchain pairs

@ProofOfEly @wabdoteth I was long/short meme coins on FTX Which was the closest to hyperliquid It wasn’t a Dex per se, but there was no KYC just deposit USDC into this address and 20X cross collateral leverage long nonsense - so same UX

@0xNeptun @Jakeronthia_ @ProofOfEly the point is megaeth needs a core product, which they chose as USDM an L2 is not a real category of product, or business model, or app, it’s not a real thing it’s made up

I do think it’s funny that these are all about the same things that Abstract community was asking for The only difference is that MegaETH raised a TON of capital while one of Abstract’s stumbling blocks was they don’t really have a treasury to be able to spend
Jake@Jakeronthia_

How to solve $MEGA disaster: - Invest in creators/ambassadors/IRl events across the world - give support (even grants) to the apps - Build a real social presence - Hire someone to be PROactive and rentless online to BUILD (Look serc with normies) - SUPPORT the NFT/Meme side

@Jakeronthia_ @ProofOfEly i would say the key is having a business model that can scale that can be driven by core team, the community aspect is more marketing don’t disagree that effort should be put into it but the other component is much more important

@wabdoteth @ProofOfEly Do you agree with me that invest on community build is always the key? I’m not talking about give em money I’ve asked ton of times even a simple merch to use It does not require any grant lol

@Jakeronthia_ @ProofOfEly if there’s a sustainable way that bootstraps liquidity for USDM which is their primary product, then yes volume isn’t fake or useless if it drives users to the core product see: hyperliquid

@wabdoteth @ProofOfEly Is it better to launch points campaign to throw money to the window and make fake volume?

@ProofOfEly u could do this on other ones but i guess hyperliquid was more lax with listings which was mostly a consequence of having better UX and liquidity which made these markets possible, hyperliquid didnt succeed because they were more liberal with memecoin listings

@Jakeronthia_ @ProofOfEly how is burning money on marketing before finding PMF a "healthy way" to give incentives? it's the complete opposite

@wabdoteth @ProofOfEly If you deploy millions of dollars to whales who will farm That’s not an healthy way imo All the above points should be a great start

@wabdoteth @ProofOfEly That’s not the point imo If you (MegaETH) deployed capital to farm with gambling and useless apps (most of them) why not spending in an healthy way lol

A seal at a public aquarium learned to mimic human speech, and he sounded exactly like a grumpy old man. He spent years swimming in his tank, surfacing just to stare at confused tourists and yell "How are ya?" and "Get outta here!"
