Shoutout to "dappGambl" for another "study" that will provide plenty of material for clickbait articles:
"95% of NFT collections are worthless".
No one should be surprised. I would argue the more accurate number is 99%.
But this does not indicate the "fall of the NFT space".
Why? The study looked at 73,257 NFT collections, including those that never had any relevance or sold out in the first place.
Rather, we should look at which projects actually had at least some traction at some point and how many of them are actually worthless today.
The answer: Around 30%.
However, that probably doesn't make such good clickbait articles, which is why the authors of the study hide it at the bottom.
As always with these "studies", it's worth taking a closer look.
