90% of people I hear rn are convinced BTC is going to 40–45. The logic is always the same: war = uncertainty = risk-off = crypto dumps. Maybe. But it feels like a lot of that selling already happened in anticipation. The “waiting for the strike” was long, and everyone front-ran the fear. Gold and equities whipped around too. This wasn’t just a crypto thing. What’s weird to me is the confidence. At the same time, the world is actively moving toward 24/7 markets and onchain rails: Hyperliquid is being talked about like a new trading primitive. Polymarket has people pricing every event in real time. Value moving cross-border in minutes is not a theory anymore, it’s a product. In that environment, Bitcoin becomes more understandable, not less. 45k is possible. I’m not denying it. I just don’t get why people speak about it like it’s “where it should go” on a chart. If anything, 80k feels more likely than 45. And 100k doesn’t sound crazy either.

“it has to be properly tokenised” is mostly snobbery. markets don’t scale on everyone holding legal title to every underlying asset. they scale on exposure. tradfi didn’t win by fractionalising every bond certificate. it won with wrappers: funds, ETFs, total return vehicles. same logic onchain: for short-duration credit, invoices, rotating strategies, a wrapper (ERC-4626 vault) is often the only design that actually scales. purity vs capital velocity. pick one.
