@sbcmmndr @feelsdesperate Spare me. Do you seriously expect me to believe you guys wanted “inclusive language” limited to strictly medical settings only? Why don’t “trans people” deserve accommodating language in advertisements, curriculum, entertainment, etc.?
Again, we both lived through 2020-2024.

@DefyDiffidence @feelsdesperate No one tried to erase the word “mother” they were just trying to use more inclusive language in medical settings to include trans people who might not identify with the word. Mother was never supposed to be erased or even replaced in common usage

I’d recommend moving from the “it never happened” to the “it’s good that it happened” part.
