Ms. Carroll, a speech pathologist in our building, did a whole group lesson with Ms. Johnson's students. She focused on how to ask for a turn and extending an open hand as a visual cue. Ms. Johnson's students did an excellent job asking and sharing! #lakeviewZD6#ZD6OnTheMove
Ms. Johnson's class read the book Mouse Paint on Tuesday, and the kids painted with frozen watercolors. They found that if they mix red and blue together, it makes purple! The kids were amazed by their discoveries! #lakeviewZD6#ZD6OnTheMove
Monday's Success By Six event was a success! Parents learned about educational activities that can be done at home with their child, and all materials were given to families to take home for continued practice. Thanks, United Way, for supporting our students. #lakeviewZD6
@rhenson80@froehlichm This was awesome, Ro! I, too, have been thinking about my focus for the year, and your recommendation is great. I like the one-word idea. This word can be used in a broad context but also focuses you at the same time. Go, Ro!
We recognized bullying prevention by wearing crazy hair, socks, and a favorite t-shirt and discussing conflict resolution by being reminded to Stop, Talk, and Walk. Finally, we gathered together for our Unity Walk. As one, we can stomp out bullying! #lakeviewZD6#ZD6OnTheMove
