I said last night that the kids do not look so unhealthy and it's largely true. However, do not forget that the security agencies were in constant touch with the terrorists. They needed to make sure that the kids do not lack food and some medical care or little clothing. The terrorists too could not afford to kill any of the kids because they were threatened with their own wives, mothers and relatives. If those kids and their teachers were not properly taken care of, what you'd be seeing are skeletons covered with flesh.
