@MiroslavPuza Moje děti chodí do Menzy ČVUT, ale studují VŠCHT, takže vím, jaké tam jsou ceny. Většinou si ale jídlo nosí ode mě a ohřejou si ho ve škole a v menze nebo NTK ho sní. To není kvůli penězům, ale protože jim to chutná. Ale když mají chuť na smažák, jdou do menzy

i had a convo with some younger people a while ago where they squirmed at the idea of getting piercings because it's permanent & can go wrong and instead defended fake piercings. they want to look edgy without the commitment of a real body mod. sad and fake behavior tbh

@Neoka_ @zoufaly_barista Yes, už život ve velkochovu je stresující. Pak cesta na jatka (až 24 hodin v EU) a finálně omráčení a vykrvení. S tím, že omráčení ne vždycky vyjde. Záběry z jatek s empatickými řezníky jsme viděli snad všichni. No a o plynových komorách se mi nechce rozepisovat.

This was how I ended a 2 years relationship with a girl I loved so much. One day I told my mum I have interest in marrying the girl I was dating, my mum just asked me a few questions if I’m ready if I really loved her and so one. It ended there the about a month later my mum came back to tell me I can’t marry her, that she made enquiries about the girls village and that I can’t marry this girl, I tried to convince her that she’s a good girl but instead my mum played the emotional card. I ended the relationship 2 weeks after but till date I blame myself and can’t forgive myself cause I feel like I missed a big opportunity to a good lifetime partner. My confidence and self worth haven’t been great lately and I just wanted to say thats ok so other people who suffer with depression or anxiety know that it’s ok to feel like that.
I’m CEO of Happy Doggo and most people in positions like mine have to hide stuff like this. Most people in all positions In life do actually. It’s really hard to admit you don’t feel the best about yourself. That’s why I just write it down as I feel because maybe it’ll help someone.
Between our team, partners and everything wrapped up in what I do there are probably 100+ people who rely on me. Add in social media, donors and everything else and that’s a massive happy facade to keep up.
I’ve learnt though that it’s ok to say you are not ok. At the moment I’m going through the motions. Still working hard and trying my best but I feel a bit worthless. No self worth at all. I also have imposter syndrome. I know I can jus read the comments here or look at the dogs saved and I should be happy but it doesn’t bring me anything. I look in the mirror at the moment and can’t even really look at myself. No particular reason or spark for this. As people who suffer know it just comes in a dark wave like a fog.
I could easily share some happy dog photos and smile and pretend I felt amazing. But I’d rather be honest and try to help others. I have untold amounts of support and good luck that many of you dont. So if you're feeling down or a little rough right now, that's okay because so am I, and it's absolutely fine to say that.

Stojím za Spojenými státy a Izraelem a odsuzuji íránské útoky na své sousedy, jmenovitě Katar, Kuvajt, Spojené arabské emiráty, Bahrajn, Saúdskou Arábii a Jordánsko. Tisíce mrtvých demonstrantů, snaha o vývoj jaderné bomby nebo 57 tisíc dronů Shahed vyslaných z Ruska na Ukrajinu jsou jen špičkou ledovce. Neustálý teror v regionu Blízkého východu už musí skončit. Íránský režim dostal mnoho šancí na mír, ale žádnou z nich nevyužil.
Od české vlády pak očekávám, že zajistí bezpečí českých občanů v regionu.

So are the unnecessary calfs. Unless it’s a small family farm with loved cows ,which I am sure you know, are almost nonexistent.

As much as I appreciate the engagement with this post, I’d like to ask people who want to eat meat but are still upset with this : What else would you think is a better way to kill? Getting shot in the head? Gas exposure? Injections? Mechanical beheading? If they were in the wild, they would be bitten alive by predators, which is even more gory and painful. People will freak out over this, without realizing that the alternative to this system is a big hairy dude smeared in blood as he is slitting the throat of one pig after another with a huge iron blade. On the other hand, this electric stunning looks like an incredibly instant way to kill. If you don’t want to eat an animal that was killed, then become vegetarian like me.
My point is that when you have decided to kill for sure, then any process of killing animals is shocking. Humans have been eating meat for millennia, and I don’t think killing animals can get any better than this.
