The Iraqi Parliament has proposed a law to lower the legal marriage age for girls from 18 to 9. Girls are not spouses. Becoming a “Global Women Peace Ambassador”is a profound honor and responsibility. This role embodies a commitment to advocating for gender equality, peace, and justice worldwide. As an ambassador, I would strive to amplify women's voices in conflict resolution, promote education, peace advocacy and support initiatives that empower women in their communities. Through collaboration with local organizations, governments, and international bodies, my mission would be to foster dialogue and understanding, addressing the root causes of conflict and violence against women. By sharing stories of resilience and strength, I aim to inspire a global movement that recognizes the critical role women play in sustaining peace and building inclusive societies. In this capacity, I would work tirelessly to ensure that women's rights are upheld and that they have equal opportunities to participate in peacebuilding processes.
