@ug_aggie Your time will come and will be an irritation. I hate flying with a passion unfortunately have no choice.

@DanielLutaaya @ReachDrMuganga In terms of vetting in any other country even on a basic security level check he wouldn’t go through.
English

The debate about @ReachDrMuganga ‘s citizenship returns.
First thing, let us agree that the man is learned, has great ideas and is a good fit for the job.
Secondly,
Dr. Muganga’s grandparents came to Uganda before independence, before there was even a Ugandan passport or Ugandan citizenship to speak of. So he is a 3rd generation Ugandan.(In Luganda they call these ones, Kasangwawo, Kawo ka dda)
He studied on gov’t scholarship at MUK for bachelor’s and that is not given to foreigners.
He has openly spoken about his citizenship issues in the media so you can do your research online and find all the interviews he has done about this.

@JimMukuru @Sir_ZziwaRJK Learning is key here haven’t we all been there it’s just that some people suffer silently out of shame.

I lost 3.2 million UGX in 18 days last season because of ONE mistake most Ugandan farmers still make. Last year, on my Crane Foods farm in Mukono, our maize looked perfect until Day 45. Then fall armyworms hit like a thief at night. By the time we noticed, 40% of the crop was gone. No early scouting.
No timely neem + emamectin mix.
No trap crops on the borders Results. We harvested what should’ve been 180 bags… we got 107. That’s money for school fees, labour, and next season inputs — gone. Here’s what actually works in 2026 for small-medium Ugandan farms:Scout every 3 days from week 3 (walk the field at knee height, check under leaves).
Plant border trap crops (Napier grass or Desmodium) — armyworms prefer them.
At first sign: Mix 50ml neem oil + 20g emamectin benzoate in 15L water. Spray at dusk.
Top dress with CAN + foliar fertilizer immediately after to help plants recover fast.
We did this on the second planting and saved 85% of the crop.Question for you:
What’s the biggest pest or disease destroying your maize, cassava, or vegetables right now? Reply with your location and crop — I’ll share specific remedies that are working for us. Farmers who repost this are the ones who will still be in business in 2027.#UgandaFarming #AfricanAgriculture #MaizeFarming

ATTENTION ATTENTION
Another type of person to avoid is someone who prefers buying condos instead of purchasing a plot of land and building their own house. Avoid them — they are wicked.
You can’t be spending 3 million every month for years just to own a room with a balcony. You don't own the land
Why don’t you buy a plot at 25 million, build a large house with a compound in your name?
I wonder why many rich kids hate owning property. They forget they are in Africa

@AchomEmily Let Mzee give him internal affairs that least should be tweaked abit David is a disciplined man.
English

One of those Ministers who would step onto the floor of Parliament and you instantly knew a gentleman was about to speak was Gen. David Muhoozi. Calm, articulate, intelligent, and never unnecessarily dramatic.
Honestly, dropping such a sober and effective Minister is painful, ela wanno sabategedde!
My heart is bleeding banange. Uganda has truly lost one of its finest at the Cabinet table.
Will dearly miss him.

@Round_Sky_ @mkainerugaba First things first let them give up travel allowances, entertainment, donations what foolery is this to Ugandans who gets per diem 5000 dollars a day. There is a school in Luweero Triangle where students study under trees. Not acceptable.Reduce those obscene wages 3m is enough.
English

For the sake of transparency and public trust, we demand the authority and Gen @mkainerugaba a comprehensive verification process, including physical accountability of listed employees of the 11th Parliament to ascertain whether all persons receiving salaries legitimately serve in the roles for which public funds were allocated.
English

@DrBellahh @JoelSsenyonyi Atleast let him return the death benefits he didn’t die last term.
English

Hey @JoelSsenyonyi do you agree on slashing your office budget if you become LOP again ?
Just asking sir 🙏🏻

English

@BiancaNyira Well that comes with a receipt too suppose.
English

In what way does money allocated to the LOP facilitate opposition MPs , I desire to see payments done by the LOP to facilitate his fellows , I’ve put you to task Pius I dare you.
PIUS JADWAR@One_PiusJadwar
The LOP’s budget is meant to run the office, facilitate opposition MPs, and support staff activities. It is not money for personal use by the office bearer. Unlike the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the LOP works with and coordinates many opposition MPs. JOEL SSENYONYI IS CLEAN.
English

@JonahRuhima @rggoobi Unfortunately our PS shies away from debates on matters of value for Tax payers money everyone at finance is mute at the moment.
English

I am so proud of Dr @rggoobi. He is quietly doing wonders. He is always my reference to the possibility of us as citizens transforming this country if we serve with dedication and love for our motherland. Unfortunately, matters of economics are hard for many of us to understand

@TonyNatif Surely also some money would have remained or a donation to x, y, street children just saying.
English

No, Eric. Only the money he got.
The issue is simple: “over 2 years, out of the money in the budget framework paper, I got X and I used it this way.”
What we got last year were explanations as to why 100% of the cash didn’t come. That’s not accountability and you know it but you’re playing to the gallery.
It was the equivalent of Amelia Kyambadde asking @SimonKaggwaNjal: “mbuuza ebya sente”.
Geno Eric@genoeric1
Guys want Joel Ssenyonyi to explain how he used the money he didn’t get.
