Heck our Leo’s owner is building a temporary stadium for 2 games to showcase 🏈 in Kelowna.

Just got emotional listening to these iconic Jim Robson calls, which I’ve heard a thousand times but hit hard today.

@BCLionsDen I’m fine with BC Place for the Leos & now they should be getting a better deal. It allows for bigger crowds when needed. If the Caps get a new smaller stadium their fans will then be upset over their higher ticket prices as supply shrinks & the the stadium is paid for.

Personally I would love a 30,000 seat outdoor stadium, with parking and tailgating, and all of football's best fan things. But I don't think the Lions mind BC Place all that much. It's a solid stadium, with great sight lines throughout the building, it's getting major improvements to premium viewing areas, upgraded dressing rooms. If the Whitecaps choose to leave, or move to a new stadium that excludes the Lions, I think they would be happy to stay there provided the lease and profits are fair.

@Derek_J_OBrien Seems like Czechs may have “left it all on the table” last night against Canada. Hoping for a big third period comeback.

Watching the #worldjuniors final, I have to think it's such an advantage for Sweden to have its whole team playing at home and playing together regularly at international breaks. They're playing as a team in a way that's difficult to build in a short tournament.
