نفرتی که ترامپ و نتانیاهو به جان خریدند دیگر حالا هر آدم بی‌طرفی اذعان می‌کند که خطری قریب‌الوقوع از جانب ایران، آمریکا و اسرائیل را تهدید نمی‌کرده است. این نکته ادعای مقام‌های ایرانی نیست. جو کنت، رئیس مرکز مبارزه با تروریسم در دولت ترامپ، نه فقط بر آن مهر تأیید زده، بلکه به دلیل طرح ادعای چنین تهدیدی از جانب دولت متبوع خود، از مقامش استعفا داده و تأکید کرده است که وجدانش اجازهٔ حمایت از جنگ آمریکا و اسرائیل علیه ایران را به او نمی‌دهد. در عین حال، اینک هر آدم منصفی تصدیق می‌کند که مذاکره‌کنندگان ایرانی در نشست ژنو، پیشنهادی به طرف آمریکایی ارائه کرده‌اند که متضمن رفع نگرانی هر کشوری نسبت به برنامهٔ هسته‌ای آن بوده است. این حقیقت را نه فقط بدر بن حمد بوسعیدی وزیر خارجهٔ پادشاهی عمان به عنوان میانجی مذاکرات، بارها تکرار کرده است بلکه طبق گزارش روزنامهٔ گاردین، جاناتان پاول، مشاور امنیت ملی دولت بریتانیا نیز که در آخرین دور مذاکرات ژنو حضور داشته، پیشنهاد ایران را "غافل‌گیرکننده" و مناسب برای پیشگیری از جنگ توصیف کرده است. با این اوصاف، شبیخون بزدلانهٔ ترامپ و نتانیاهو به خاک ایران، نمی‌تواند انگیزه‌ای جز آزمندی و بدسگالی داشته باشد. این دو، آنقدر هم استعداد نداشتند که یک تاکتیک ناجوانمردانه یعنی حملهٔ غافل‌گیرانه در وسط مذاکرات را دو بار تکرار نکنند تا بدین اندازه پست و خوار و بی‌اعتبار جلوه‌گر نشوند! آنها شبانه‌روز ، سرتاسر خاک ایران و مراکز آموزشی و ورزشی و پژوهشی و نفتی و بندری و سیاسی کشور ما را مورد تاخت و تاز نظامی و عملیات تروریستی خود قرار می‌دهند و جان مردم ما و دارایی‌هایی شخصی و ملی آنان را نیست و نابود می‌کنند. کار به جایی رسیده است که پس از ارتکاب هر جنایتی علیه سرزمین و مردم ایران، به کار خود افتخار می‌کنند و افرادی مانند هگست و کاتز، بی‌رحمی و سفاکی خود را مایهٔ مباهات می‌دانند! حقا که تاریخ چنین دنائت و حقارتی را به ندرت تجربه کرده است. این سطح از سفاکی، مردم ما را به خشم آورده است. این مردم دیگر آن مردم سه هفته پیش نیستند که دغدغهٔ بسیاری از آنان، نوع رفتار جمهوری اسلامی باشد. در واقع سطحِ توحشِ مدعیان تمدن، آنها را چنان منزجر کرده است که بسیاری از آنان نه تنها کارنامه و عملکرد سران و مسئولان کشور را به حاشیه برده‌اند بلکه اکنون جز به کمک برای به خاک مالیدن بینی رهبران دو کشور متجاوز به چیز دیگری نمی‌اندیشند. در این روزها من با شهروندان بسیاری روبرو شده‌ام که پیش از این در شمار معترضان سرسخت جمهوری اسلامی بودند و سیاست خارجی آن را بخصوص در برابر آمریکا و اسرائیل ریشهٔ عمده مشکلات اقتصادی کشور می‌دانستند. این جنگ بی‌قاعده و متوحشانه اما افکار آنان را تغییر داده و به همدلی با جمهوری اسلامی کشانده است به طوری که در پی جستجوی راهی برای کمک به آن در مقابل تجاوز بیگانگان هستند. کار چنان بالا گرفته است که افرادی همیشه ناراضی از شیوع فساد، اکنون در بارهٔ حجم و ابعاد آن نیز به تردید افتاده‌اند و می‌پرسند مگر مقام‌ها و رسانه‌های تحت کنترل آمریکا و اسرائیل نمی‌گفتند بسیاری از مسئولان سیاسی و نظامی کشور، پول‌های مردم را به حساب‌های خود در خارج منتقل کرده‌اند و به مجرد آغاز جنگ آمادهٔ فرار از کشورند؟ پس چرا بعد از جنگ، یکی از آنها پست خود را ترک نکرده و به رغم رعب‌افکنی آمریکا و اسرائیل، به کار خود ادامه می‌دهند به طوری که شمار بالایی از آنان به همراه زن و بچهٔ خود، هدف عملیات تروریستی قرار می‌گیرند و خانوادگی کشته می‌شوند؟ در این میان، نظامیانی که با آگاهی از مرگ فوری و قطعی، پشت لانچرهای پرتاب موشک می‌نشینند، عواطف بسیاری از شهروندان را برانگیخته است. روزانه اجساد متلاشی شدهٔ شماری از این نظامیان را در مناطق غربی کشور جمع‌آوری و در کیسه می‌کنند و برای خاک‌سپاری به شهرهای خود می‌فرستند. من نمی‌دانم این جنگ ایران‌سوز و منطقه‌سوز چه زمانی و با چه نتیجه‌ای به پایان خواهد رسید اما می‌دانم که جنگ به چنان نفرتی از ترامپ و نتانیاهو حتی در بین مردم مخالف و منتقد نظام حاکم دامن زده است که تحت هر شرایطی از ایران هیچ بهره و نصیبی نخواهند برد!
