Next time you're out and about in the world and you see a genius idea and you say in your head "well, that's a good idea" Insert the word "business" Because any good idea could be a good business idea. No one's doing this. No one's framing wallpaper and selling it as an alternative to permanent wallpaper. This past week was the perfect storm. Context: Our team hosted 13+ events for 4,000+ ppl for New York Tech Week. We even put on a 2,000+ person “Palooza” and FOUR days of fireside chats, parties, and dinners at a townhouse called “Lumos House”. One day before the event - I find out a member of my staff has to undergo surgery and can’t work that week. On Day 2 - I start getting intense stomach pains. Over the next few days, I can’t eat and sleep properly. Can barely leave the house. I compensate by doing more computer work. But fierce migraines come. Four days in a row! All of the events were a success—but it was tough. The dark side of entrepreneurship nobody takes about. But we made it through. Incredibly thankful for my team for knocking it out of the park. Ended my week by giving a keynote speech to 100 immigrant founders and builders about the power of grit and resilience. Seemed like funny timing.
