My friend stopped eating his wife’s food for over a month now. Every single day, he leaves the house to buy food outside. According to him, during an argument one day, his wife said: “After God, your life is in my hands. I’m the one that cooks your food every day.” At first, he didn’t think much about it. Then during another fight, she repeated the exact same thing again. Since then, he has been scared she might poi s on him one day.

Still bothers me how women have so many clothes. Them go leave like 25 of their clothes for your house and them go still dey function normally. If drycleaner carry 25 of my clothes I'm one weekend away from nakedness.

At church today after service, a man offered to drop me off around my area, and I sat in the front seat. His wife came over and told me to move to the back seat while the man kept completely quiet. I just quietly stepped down and told him not to bother taking me again.

Armed thieves broke into my Uncle’s house in Benin many years back. As everybody dey cooperate make dem thief, comot, na so my cousin (very young then) look one of the robbers shout “my daddy have gun too!”

some of you don’t know how organized and structured the AMVCA is and I give them kudos for that (not saying they are perfect): - if they give you a time slot for your red carpet interview, if you miss it, e don go be that no matter who you are. I love how strict they are with time. - if the show is to start 7:00 pm best believe that from 6:59:30 the host is already counting down and they start talking 7:00 pm sharp! nothing like that stupid African time! I love being at the AMVCA. plus it’s the adult midterm break for actors in Africa!
