@thomslvey 1984. I came home to a crying and upset wife. She told me Jenny had been killed in a jet ski accident. I said Jenny Who!? Thru tears she said Jenny Gardner. (A character on All my Children.) Next day I made her look thru the want ads for a job.

24 years ago today one of the saddest episodes of television ever made aired, and we lost one of the best characters in history :(

Childhood’s End When my daughter was 5 she scribbled on several pages in our family heirloom bible I scolded her. When she was 30 she was killed by a drunk driver. I still read the verses she scribbled on. John 11: 25-26. I wish I would’ve hugged her and told her it was all right.
