Greenland’s parliament is to fast-track a new rule. Foreign citizens will no longer be able to buy property in Greenland. This has just been decided by the Greenlandic government. The tightening of legislation is due to the increasing geopolitical interest to Greenland. Only persons with Danish citizenship / greenlandic citizenship, or people who have lived and paid taxes in Greenland for at least two years will be allowed to buy property. They didn't have to pay the tolls prior to Donald Trump's meltdown. The policy is part of the Panama Canal Treaty signed in 1977, which came into effect in 1999 when Panama took full control of the canal. Yet another "win" for something that was in place before Donald Trump even got into office. This is his playbook. Rinse. Recycle. Repeat.

When we joined the economy was bust, the costs of Brexit and losses to bisness are being drowned out by multi million pound companies making cuts they were already going to make and blaming NI charges fir the shambles, that dare not speak it's name.

A lot to chew over in @RachelReevesMP speech. Some very big announcements, some huge fights ahead, but at least a sense of much-needed optimism and policy breadth to meet the scale of the challenge, and though there will be massive focus on Heathrow there was a lot in there for the cities and regions. The biggest disappointment was the lack of detail on resetting trade relations with Europe. Essential for growth.

It would be great to know why @LeeAndersonMP_ didn't say anything when this man called me an "immigrant" and said my sort were "overbreeding". I don't know about you, but I'd intervene if someone was being racially abused right in front of me!
