@TheGriftReport I’d like to think the deal was done exactly like Alan Partridge buying his house: “How much is it?” “Two million” “Will you take… 1.99?” “Yes”

RICHARD HAMMOND'S £2M BACHELOR MANSION SPLASH! TOP GEAR LEGEND GOES FULL SINGLE AFTER DEVASTATING DIVORCE Richard Hammond has snapped up a stunning six-bedroom Georgian manor house for £1.99m cash (below asking price) complete with tennis court, wine cellar, supercar outbuildings and private boating lake. The purchase comes months after his split from wife Mindy of 23 years (28 together), calling it part of his brutal "year from hell" following his dad's death and the end of The Grand Tour. He's knee-deep in renovations with scaffolding everywhere and happily settling into single life. Bachelor pad unlocked!

Just found out that minimum delivery actually just means the minimum amount where they can guarantee you get a fair volume of petrol for the price (within legal tolerances at least)

I found this out once when the pump kept cutting off. I went into the shop and paid for my £1.57 of fuel and the lady went “aahhhh”.

Fun petrol fact: You can buy less than the “minimum delivery” amount.

Note I’d like to think I never noticed this because I’ve never tried to connect one the wrong way round on a car 👍

I’ve been buying, fitting and externally charging car batteries for 30+ years, yet only this week did I notice the -‘ve and +’ve terminals ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE (as can be seen from these Cap Kingdom hats you sometimes get on a new battery) #CarBatteries

This is unbelievable. Great work that man for finding and reporting this insane vulnerability. Hope you guys can also look into the recent Lloyds/RBS/Halifax app issue too (the one where it showed others people’s transaction) 👍
Dan Neidle@DanNeidle

I see some weird things but this takes the biscuit. A vulnerability in the Companies House website, that let anyone view the private dashboard of any one of the five million registered companies, see directors' personal details. And modify them.

This is because I originally gave Dave the id of 5 and went back before posting editing it to be 7 to remove the inevitable confusion of both nibbles being 0101. Oh and a nibble is half a byte btw, if that wasn't obvious. #nibble

Made a mistake in the binary at the start -- said app sees 0101 for Dave but I meant it sees 0111. If you spotted this: congratulations, you passed the test!

There is going to be a really dumb reason some banking app users are seeing other people’s transactions. Like u_int64 user IDs have reached beyond 2^32 but the apps all use a u_int32.

Or why not put that 'six-twoooo' fella on a new £62 note? You know, real pillars of society, and great mentors for our kids to see what people are capable of achieving.

"The public will get a say in what animals will appear" Why not give the public a say on whether they want Churchill, Shakespeare, Turing etc. removed in the first place?
