If the player’s ball has not been found but is known or virtually certain to have come to rest in a TIO:
• The player may take relief under this Local Rule by using the estimated point where the ball last crossed the edge of the TIO on the course as the spot of the ball for purposes of finding the nearest point of complete relief.
• Once the player puts another ball in play to take relief in this way, the original ball is no longer in play and must not be played. usga.org

@burnertony86068 @MattVincenziPGA Other point people are missing is you don’t actually have to find it. Just that it was seen or certain to have landed and is in TIO. Finding it only confirms correct decision at the end

@MattVincenziPGA How is it any different than the ruling from the driving range Spieth got in 2017?
The on course reporting was horrible until a hole later when they clarified they'd actually fond Scottie's original ball. Once that is know, the ruling is pretty straightforward.

@ChuckRehm4 @MattVincenziPGA You don’t have to find your ball if it was seen or certain it went into TIO. Someone saw it go into it and later it was confirmed by finding it. It doesn’t matter when it was found but finding it confirms the correct ruling.

@siegh_ar @stankRat_ @DreamReality I can agree with this take as long as (what I think you implied) seasonal characters have gaps in between. So a few months of just permanent characters with events sprinkled in before next season.

That’s also why seasonal should swap every 4 months max.

Not being able to prestige on a seasonal pmc is very odd. Should have multiple layers of incentives to keep players encouraged to play their seasonal pmc otherwise they’ll get bored and frustrated after 3-6 weeks and go back on their non-seasonal pmc, etc. I predict a fair amount of player falloff after 6 weeks; with the split between seasonal and non-seasonal servers, raids will feel pretty empty; 2-3 player groups per raid kinda empty… not good. Prestige should be account wide for PvP (seasonal and non-seasonal); and separate from PvE.

1. If you take the Personality Vacuum perk, you will still be able to obtain Kappa. 2. Connection to the Arena. It will exist, but with logic similar to PvE. You can gain experience, skill experience, and mastery there, and transfer items from the Arena into Seasons (but not back from Seasons into the Arena). Some Ref quests that send you into the Arena will be unavailable in Seasons. 3. Modifiers apply only to PMC. 4. Prestige will not be obtainable on a Seasonal character. 5. Allergy works like in real life: you will have to figure out what you are allergic to. Allergy applies only to meds, stimulants, drinks, and food, and does not affect medkits or CMS. When the Allergy triggers, you first receive a hand tremor effect, followed by poisoning that deals damage to your health.

@stankRat_ Yeah… I was hoping to prestige seasonal characters and keep my legacy character to do other things. I’m sure there will be an achievement or profile badge for completing some kind of quest line on seasonal.

@domontovich @nikgeneburn Is it possible to get a change to Assessment Part 1.. it is difficult to accomplish this task when you play multiple raids and not a single PMC is seen in the area. I don't even hear PMC's shooting or fighting anywhere on the map... can we change it entirely or lower the PMC count

@Bungie I feel like Marathons short comings are to blame more so. I get Destiny 2 fell short but Marathon fell out the gate while Destiny was left to flounder.

With Icebreaker being a PvE mission success within the PvP realm has your team considered making Labyrinth the same. I think both are great content that can reward players for unlocking them through PvP but once unlocked open a door for getting items needed for quests while still being challenging.

One word. Starlink. It’s not the cameras being used it’s the connection. I am assuming between how contracts work and when and how the rocket was designed it just wasn’t worth the extra money to add Starlink late in the process. Hopefully NASA takes the criticism and does add Starlink in the future. I think as a government funded program NASA needs better views from a PR perspective.
