Just resharing this little bit of false advertising from @TheRAC_UK who have confirmed that this is not true. It is company policy that pet dogs are not allowed inside recovery vehicles regardless of driver opinion. Please share

still waiting for that call. Got home at 2am (12 hours later) with a highly stressed and now injured dog. Have since had @TheRAC_UK tell me twice the website is correct, before finally yesterday admitting it's not. Absolute nightmare weekend . Do check your policy and move!

Immediately raised it with the Escalation team as was prepared to sleep in the motorhome and wait till the morning if I could get a better solution .. Escaltion manager never even called me back despite call centre saying x3 they required to call within 60 min

So to clarify @TheRAC_UK have confirmed it's company policy that all pet dogs must be carried on the flat bed and are not allowed in the cab, regardless of drivers wishes. Do not buy this policy!! Website screenshot as below..

@TheRAC_UK can you let us know why this is advertised on your website when your company policy is no dogs in cabs at all? Nothing to do with driver discretion..

@TheRAC_UK Also you were aware of an animal that had been in a broken down vehicle for 7 hours at the side of a dual carriageway waiting for recovery by the time you turned up. I was reassured 3 times that the Escalation team would call me to discuss.

@DenInCambo I can confirm the documents are correct. All relays including an animal will be down to the discretion of the driver. If we are aware you have an animal we will try our best to find a resource that can move you and the pet. Thanks, ^Ellie

@TheRAC_UK Perhaps read the post Ellie. The driver and his manager told me that regardless of their opinion, it is company policy not to allow dogs. You say 'the documents' are correct. Which one? They are contradictory.
