@WatchMyReview Marner playing well proved that he wasn't the problem when Leafs failed in playoffs. He always tried to push further carrying mostly the puck but no results for same reason: he was alone trying hard. Matthews was & still is the problem. He was never there when game matters no ❤️.

Is Marner playing well proof he wasn't the problem? Or is it proof how weak the West is? Even Leafs weakest opponents-Columbus and Montreal were better than the 2 teams Vegas met met thus far. Utah and Anaheim would not have even made the playoffs in the east.

@SimServant Blessé ou pas, Thompson souffre du même syndrome que Matthews dans les matchs importants. Les deux étaient très peu visibles aussi aux JO. On doit être content d'avoir Suzuki 1er centre pour notre équipe en séries. Lui c'est un vrai compétiteur et livre quand c'est important.

Pour un gars de ce gabarit, quelle déception Thompson pour vrai.

@DenisPMtl Chose certaine, c'est pas aussi défensif que contre Tampa. La bonne nouvelle, c'est que les Sabres accordent beaucoup d'ouvertures. Le CH doit être patient et en profiter quand ça va passer. Ce match-là est loin d'être fini.

McKenna is the perfect gift to #Leafs to start a rebuild. Recover some unprotected 1st round draft picks given in 2027 (Flyers) & 2028 (Bruins) plus young talent by trading Matthews, Nylander, Knies & Rielly. Next generation is coming to Toronto.
