Ross is correct. This is Elon being stubborn instead of being sensible. If Tesla spent $50M on advertising it wouldn’t even dent their opex but it prob would generate enough demand to avoid these price cuts. If Tesla sold 150k Model 3/Ys in the US in Q1, a $1000 cut = $150M.
