A "tsunami of fire" is how central Queensland grazier Sid Godwin described the firestorm that engulfed 10,117 hectares of their property, in what was considered a one-in-100-year event.

@MartinMurray_Ag Drill a hole in the top of the presswheel arm, put a D in it and a short bit of chain back onto the main part of the unit as a safety chain, so when the bolt breaks you won’t leave them in the field. Common problem loosing the presswheels on those units
Lift assist gurus- now that you’ve convinced me to go to 2 point hitch, I figure we are best to have depth wheels front and back because I assume we won’t be able to set rig fire-aft angle with lift assist?
@bugs_are_us@Mikooh_ I would be very wary about leaving the top link in, especially if you go over a bank and the linkage runs out of up travel it will want to drive the top link into the back of the tractor
@nocsg@tanya_plibersek@PennySharpemlc I don’t doubt for a second anyone wants prime farming country looking like that. You still haven’t given me any references for your photo or if they have anything at all to do with santos’s current mining areas
@nocsg@tanya_plibersek@PennySharpemlc I would be interested to know when and where this photo was taken and which actual company this was. With no reverences attached to your photo it doesn’t have much weight!
@DennissJason@tanya_plibersek@PennySharpemlc No it is a company that clears all habitat, interferes with your farming practises, destroys aquifers and basically industrialises our most beautiful farming country and habitat.
@MartinMurray_Ag@Reinder_Prins Yep, I worked for sustain ag and built and delivered that to David, then later on designed the adapter to put the boss units on the bio drill arms
@MartinMurray_Ag@Reinder_Prins Nope, not welding on the frame, you won’t break that one, just putting the folding wings on it, it was originally not that wide. And yes 12 mt ones not that good
