What one of Denver's worse yimbys won't tell you is that he lives in a 2000 sq/ft SFH in the city with central heating, A/C, etc.
I'm sure it's okay in his yimby mind b/c he probably bike commutes.

This is a public health issue and not solely a DPR issue. We need a cross departmental approach and solutions and a recognition from the top that this is not an inconsequential issue. My hope is that @MikeJohnstonCO administration will prioritize water and restroom access.

The burbs are where the cops live, where local executives routinely block apartment buildings for fear of bringing in lower class (i.e. nonwhite) folks, & were the bedrock for NY's years of Republican statewide control up to the late 2000s. People got short memories

There were over 250 public comments opposing the Pena Blvd highway expansion but Denver and DRCOG are pushing it through anyway. It’s hard to believe these requests for more public comment have any semblance of good faith.

I’ll be voting for @MikeJohnstonCO and @CandiCdeBacaD9 in the runoff. I don’t agree with all of the councilwoman’s housing positions and her hatred of developers but we are aligned on most all other issues. We need progressives on the city council to support our at large winners!
