As a physician during the Covid disaster, I was very disturbed by the way the medical community responded. I understand that many, probably the majority, of physicians are liberal. But the way they all abandoned science and their training either for political gain or fear was very disheartening. I spoke the truth to my patients and the staff. It was a bit risky because I could have been cancelled. Anyway, the whole thing was disgraceful.

@Sassafrass_84 In the modern era the more time you spend in college the dumber you get. They attack common sense, patriotism, and critical thinking. College ruins more people than it uplifts now. 4 years in the poison Ivy League fries your brain more than many hard drugs.

@Sierra_rak Not only that, different convictions. I will never understand entitlement, that does not lead to shame. This is not from religion, but from looking into a persons eyes and seeing pain, and knowing I caused it. Somehow this seems innate. Somehow, friends can revel in such pain

People usurp power as soon as they get it. That's why capitalism works-people fight each other instead of taking over the whole system.

Communism and Capitalism are just two different ways to reach the same destination: a society where 1% of the people own 100% of the resources. One does it through the State, the other does it through the Corporation. Either way, you’re still a tenant on a planet you were born on.
