I think all games are beautiful. Let's seek the worst in them.

@ShitpostRock Don't worry, he's gonna resurrect. Or HE is not your favorite character?!

@254lyt @UnsichtbareH @CynicalWeeb Man thinks Kazakhstan is a third-world country. Probably just a spoiled brat who skipped school and got everything he ever wanted. Of course, he never had to make toys out of a cool stick.
English

@UnsichtbareH @Geek_Wadeg @CynicalWeeb It is. One had to buy a toy and the other improvised from natural resources. You never made toys on your own as a kid?

Cada video que veo de Africa me hace entender mas a los Europeos,si yo viera un continente lleno de recursos y habitado por gente que viaja metiendose un palo en el culo mi primer pensamiento seria ponerlos a trabajar en una mina por la gloria de mi imperio.

Come on, guys, it's time to invent the wheel.
Español

@UnsichtbareH @CynicalWeeb At least after 80 years of pretending, you are being honest.
English

@Geek_Wadeg @CynicalWeeb I don’t think you are ready for that answer fren.
English

@Concupiscible26 @DenyJo @Sierra_rak Just as side viewer (i'm far away not from US) I dont think a social democracy nor any socialism will work In US at all, If this country stop fighting, inside and with someone outside, it would stall.
English

I’m not real sure why you guys keep on hitting on socialism like you are. Much less communism.
The vast majority of the population in the United States don’t want either one of those.
A social democracy on the other hand.
That might be something we’re talking about for a lot of people.
It still has private ownership. It still works on capitalistic principles.
Take a look at this because I think you guys will be surprised.
Close attention to what it’s like in Russia. Which is what the tangerine tyrant wants..
It’s what he’s trying to get us to be.

@MonsieurPixels @blackburn_cs @metricmoves @TimoTweetss Idk where you got this information from. For now, there are 0 swords with AoE damage (not range, but damage to nearby enemies) and 0 pistols that set enemies near the target on fire. Keep looking.
English

@Geek_Wadeg @blackburn_cs @metricmoves @TimoTweetss The perk is the arc damage, which one of the paid DLC has but so do in-game guns. The other dlc have perks that trinkets in-game also give, so there’s really no argument here. It’s about whether you want the skins or not.
English

they’re correct, I hate MTX in single-player games, hell, even in multiplayer games I hate them
BUT when a devilish skin that doesn’t suit the game’s themes and vibes and is ONLY cosmetic (no gameplay effects) is in the marketplace, I couldn’t care less tbh…

Ubisoft say DLC content isn't a “requirement to enjoy or complete the game” after Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced reviews criticized the game's $80 worth of microtransactions
English

@cliffjumper89 @CynicalWeeb So when Europeans and Americans push the idea that Africa deserved it, what's the point there? You have a crisis and want your slaves back?
English

@Geek_Wadeg @CynicalWeeb LMAO, talk about the point going over someone's head. You almost got it there, buddy
English

@UnsichtbareH @CynicalWeeb So? Should I be working in a mine, like your Nazi grandpa wanted?
English

@Geek_Wadeg @CynicalWeeb True third world thinking is thinking this picture and the video from Africa are the same. (Checks location-> you are from Kazakhstan 🤣)
English

@ZaRinka45 Ye, like I said, it's sad how quickly we eat it: games didn't need to be complete, sell cosmetics, sell gameplay items (weapons, trinkets), then story DLC that part of a base game (hi Shadows), and now we don't even own games-we rent them. Maybe gamers deserve the shit they get.
English

@Geek_Wadeg Est-ce que j'en ai besoin pour profiter un maximum du jeu ? Non.

@DenyJo @Concupiscible26 @Sierra_rak Not exactly, I think. Socialism rid off financial responsibility - you contribute to everyone's well-being. It's easier to create equality but harder to drive progress. Still works as crysis managment, the USSR went from a disaster in the early 1900s to space in about 50 years.
English

@Geek_Wadeg @Concupiscible26 @Sierra_rak Personal and financial responsibility work together in Capitalism
Socialism pits us against them
English

@ZaRinka45 So it's good for developers to keep cutting content from games, like they've been doing since Oblivion, just to sell it back to us for an extra price? Or spending additional time create content that isn't included in the game just to sell it separately? That's what you stand for?
English

@Geek_Wadeg Je défends des MTX totalement optionnels, uniquement cosmétiques, et qui peuvent même être accessibles gratuitement 👍🏿

@nettermike So you're saying people work better when they're competing for their own success rather than cooperating for the group's success. I mean, you're right, but that's nothing to be proud of. I mean if the moral - people are lasy asshole, then ok.
English

A college economics professor stated that he had once failed an entire class. That class insisted that socialism is functional and that no one should be poor and no one rich, that everyone is equal...
The teacher told them, "OK, we will do an experiment on socialism in this group.
All grades will be averaged, and everyone will get the same grade, so no one will fail and no one will get a 10."
After the first test, the grades were added up and divided by the number of students, and everyone got an 8.
The students who studied intensively were upset, but those who studied less were overjoyed.
As the second test approached, the students who had studied a little learned even less, and those who had studied more intensively told themselves that they also wanted a "handout", so they also studied less.
The average of the second test was 6.
When the third test was given, the average score was 4. To the great surprise of all the students, they all failed.
The teacher told them that socialism will eventually fail because when half the population sees that they cannot work, because the other half will take care of them, and when the half that worked realizes that there is no point in working anymore, because others are the beneficiaries of their labor, then that is the end of any nation
The story may be a fable not a fact but the moral is real
Get it?

English

@NarnianAttorney @Aiism_Priest @darwintojesus So, according to objective morality, it's okay to call people mentally ill just because of their opinions?
English

@Aiism_Priest @darwintojesus Only a full retard insists objective morality does not exist.

@Concupiscible26 @Sierra_rak If we're talking about the idea, no. Socialism was supposed to put everyone in control, but it quickly became a 1% controlled everything. People usurp power as soon as they get it. That's why capitalism works-people fight each other instead of taking over the whole system.
English

Communism and Capitalism are just two different ways to reach the same destination: a society where 1% of the people own 100% of the resources. One does it through the State, the other does it through the Corporation. Either way, you’re still a tenant on a planet you were born on.
You are being manipulated to do things that are not in your best interest!
English

@Jacksonsrule Even a trillionaire couldn't do it. The only idea was invented 100 years ago: take the means of production, make them public, and do it worldwide. But USSR and China corrupted the system immediately. It just isn't possible-people are selfish, and capitalism works bcz of that.
English

You don't find it weird that not a single billionaire wants to end world poverty? Doesn't it strike you as bizarre that no one with that kind of wealth wants to be the hero who actually solves the world's biggest
problems when they literally could? lsn't that
suspicious?

One of the devs behind the original The Witcher has looked back at the game’s controversial collectible “sex cards,” saying he isn’t embarrassed by the feature, even though he admits it wasn’t a good solution.
Former lead story designer Artur Ganszyniec explained that the team wanted romance to be part of the game because it’s an important part of Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, but CD Projekt Red was still a small studio at the time and didn’t have the budget, technology, or experience to create detailed romance scenes.
Instead, the developers used collectible cards to represent those relationships. Ganszyniec says that while the idea made sense given the team’s limitations, it didn’t age well, and some parts now feel awkward.
The upcoming The Witcher remake is expected to “modernize” many of the game’s older systems, including its approach to romance.
