When it comes to myth, they are not meant to be nuanced stories. They are meant to be archtypes. Leave the nuance to stories like Andor and the periphery. If you destroy the center where good should be good and bad should be bad, you will have no base upon which to build anything. That may be the intention of some and their useful idiots.

It feels like the only way for a Star Wars show to be successful is to stay in the Skywalker Saga. #TheAcolyte dared to bring us to a new timeline we've never seen before in live-action. It dared to give us something new and unique. Was the show perfect? No. Did it succeed in being something new? Hell yeah! I think people at Lucasfilm are afraid to do anything outside of the Skywalker Saga because of the kind of response this show got. But they did it anyway, they took the leap because they were excited about doing it. But it seems the incredibly toxic people in the Fandom, if you can even call them fans, clearly don't like change. Even if it was just the writing, story or acting that you hated. At least they dared to do something new! Do I still want stories within the Skywalker Saga? Absolutely! Do I want more projects outside of it too? Yes! Can we have both? Yes! Hell, make a story about what it was like 2,000 years before The Phantom Menace! But now I'm willing to bet the people at Lucasfilm are even more afraid now to do these things. It's really sad.

What is the point of watching anything anymore when they just get cancelled after 1 season Maybe I'll just stick to watching my old shows that had 7 to 12 seasons on repeat and give up on modern media

@DeadSummerArt Hope you find a solution! Why not try reaching out to your old playerbase and ask them why they stopped showing up to locals? For us, players basically stopped showing up since Nats were no longer bound to XP and there were no reason to play locals anymore

My locals is dying. Just me this week, one other person the week before, and just me the week before that. Need to try get some more people into the game but not sure how. MtG players refuse to even try FaB and just call it bad / complain about lack of funds.

We need ice back now more than ever. As a lifelong control player, I feel like people always complain about the archetype, without ever fully appreciating the balance it brings to meta games. Without it, games are just two ships passing in the night.

@PleasantKenobi If someone pile shuffles their deck in my games, when they present for a cut I will pick up their deck and mash shuffle it a few times and then cut it

Scheduled reminder: "pile shuffling" isn't shuffling. If it evenly distributes anything in your deck, it's cheating. If you have to do a different shuffle afterwards to randomise, then it was ineffectual and is time wasting. Do I need to another video?
