Hasina has fled to India because she was imposed on Bangladesh by India's Hindu nationalist government to advance Hindu interests in the region. These interests involved using decades of corruption, authoritarian violence and torture to repress and marginalize Bangladeshis committed to Islam and opposed to Hindu nationalism. These interests also involved fomenting hostility between Muslim Bangladesh and Muslim Pakistan. This was done, in large part, by creating a distorted fake history of the 1971 conflict between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and the actions of so called "Razakars." The aim of such hostility is to prevent Pakistan and Bangladesh from reuniting. Division prevents them from cooperating to protect their own soverignty from India,and to protect the besieged Muslims of India and Kashmir. The violence and corruption of Hasina must properly be attributed to Hindu nationalists. Their constant violence is not only suffered by Muslims within India, but is suffered by Muslims in Kashmir, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and elsewhere. Hindu nationalist violence must be clearly identified and combatted. However this does not mean running amok and randomly insulting or gangraping innocent Bangladeshi Hindus. This type of behavior is characteristic of Hindu nationalists (like Savarkar) and not Muslims. Rather, objective evidence must be carefully gathered on Bangladeshi Hindu and Muslim agents of Hindu nationalism and these agents must be carefully rooted out, fairly tried in court, and punished for their crimes. More generally it may be said that just as Hasina was imposed on Bangladesh by Hindu nationalist India, Zionist Israel also works to impose leaders on Arab states. It is to be hoped that the political authorities in South Asia and the Arab world successfully resist all Hindutvadi and Zionist efforts.
