Being a medical intern at OAUTHC and working full shifts + night calls with 4 months unpaid is draining. How does OAUTHC expect us to survive!! We’ve raised this internally, but there’s no clear timeline. INTERNS DESERVES BETTER!!. #payusoursalary @instablog9ja @yabaleftonline

Once this my sunscreen finish bayi, it's to be reciting Psalm 121:6 "The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night" anytime I'm about to step out of my house.

I wish those manifesting Veekee James gowns can listen to this. You are in ikotun in a face me I face you, your highest degree is a HND from Ugbokolo Poly, but you’re manifesting a man from KPMG. You cannot hold a conversation about the most basic of taxes, your conversation revolves around what Snapchat celebrities are doing, BBN, Love Island etc and all you can offer him is “a King was born this day” and washed up pussy🤦🏽‍♀️ But I am the resident mean girl for saying girls should focus more on grinding and building a career than manifesting a rich man. Lol. One day I will talk about how as a professional woman I get to easily meet the very men you people dress up to hustle in clubs on Friday and they do not place us professionals on same cadre with club hopping girls. For one they know we have substance to offer/can increase their wealth not drain it, but we aren’t ready for this conversation. Keep manifesting when you should be working.

Do not insult me. If I wanted to be a medical doctor, I would have gone back to school over ten years ago. I will say this one more time for the people at the back. I do not want to be known or addressed as a medical doctor, and I do not want to do your job either. Go online and search for physiotherapy jobs across all specialties. This profession is not short of work. I am approaching the peak of my career as a physiotherapist. Do you genuinely think I want to abandon that to do your job? Why would I? Everything I have achieved has been because I am a physiotherapist. And yes, I am proud of my profession. I am licensed to practise in Nigeria, across the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. If I wanted more licences, I could have pursued them. I did not sit exams. I did not retrain. I did not even need an English exam to practise internationally. As a physiotherapist, I have sat at the same tables and shared meals with three African presidents. So ask yourself this: why would I want to be mistaken for a medical doctor? Why? Do not project your insecurities onto my profession. When you do, you imply that medicine and surgery are superior. They are not. They are their own lane, just as physiotherapy is its own lane. This unhealthy rivalry has damaged the healthcare system in Nigeria, and I see attempts to export the same mindset elsewhere. I do not want to scope-creep. I do not want to blur professional boundaries. I am not a quack. I am a physiotherapist. That is enough.

Chronicles of an OAUTHC Intern, pt 1 Sometimes I wonder how to explain to people I owe money that I’m not irresponsible, I’m just unpaid. For the first 3 months of my internship, I borrowed money just to survive. Transport to work. Food. Basic daily needs.

Every BGS deserves to be given a free slot by their council to decide wherever they want to do internship. But No, this is Nigeria where a BGS will be hustling internship for TWO or THREE gaddamn years.💔 MMS🤦🏾‍♀️ PS: this is to all councils inducting HC professionals.

The only unofficial meeting the interns had with them was when they received half month salary instead of three months salary. They promised we'll get the whole money the following month which was a lie. The only time the CMD met with the interns,he threatened to sack everyone...
Healthinternvoice@Healthintern22

@oauthcofficial Enough of these lies. No official meeting was held, and the only memo the interns received was after the public pressure stating that the last personnel funds they received from FG was in October 2025. The management keep twisting the whole narratives.

We got about 95% of December salary after public pressure. Now our payslips say we were paid the full amount. Our bank alerts say something else. Why do our payslips say full payment? Which one should we believe? We're exhausted. @JAOOKENIYI Please just do the right thing
