Do not insult me. If I wanted to be a medical doctor, I would have gone back to school over ten years ago. I will say this one more time for the people at the back. I do not want to be known or addressed as a medical doctor, and I do not want to do your job either. Go online and search for physiotherapy jobs across all specialties. This profession is not short of work. I am approaching the peak of my career as a physiotherapist. Do you genuinely think I want to abandon that to do your job? Why would I? Everything I have achieved has been because I am a physiotherapist. And yes, I am proud of my profession. I am licensed to practise in Nigeria, across the UK, New Zealand, and Australia. If I wanted more licences, I could have pursued them. I did not sit exams. I did not retrain. I did not even need an English exam to practise internationally. As a physiotherapist, I have sat at the same tables and shared meals with three African presidents. So ask yourself this: why would I want to be mistaken for a medical doctor? Why? Do not project your insecurities onto my profession. When you do, you imply that medicine and surgery are superior. They are not. They are their own lane, just as physiotherapy is its own lane. This unhealthy rivalry has damaged the healthcare system in Nigeria, and I see attempts to export the same mindset elsewhere. I do not want to scope-creep. I do not want to blur professional boundaries. I am not a quack. I am a physiotherapist. That is enough.

Chronicles of an OAUTHC Intern, pt 1 Sometimes I wonder how to explain to people I owe money that I’m not irresponsible, I’m just unpaid. For the first 3 months of my internship, I borrowed money just to survive. Transport to work. Food. Basic daily needs.

Another day to beg @oauthcofficial to do right by the interns. We chose healthcare to serve,not to suffer in silence. OAUTHC interns have worked for months without salaries. Dedication should not be rewarded with neglect. @Fmohnigeria #payusoursalary #payoauthcinterns

Every BGS deserves to be given a free slot by their council to decide wherever they want to do internship. But No, this is Nigeria where a BGS will be hustling internship for TWO or THREE gaddamn years.💔 MMS🤦🏾‍♀️ PS: this is to all councils inducting HC professionals.

OWE-AUTHC and lies! It was the 2025 budget that is responsible for 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 people having constant issues with their salaries abi? @oauthcofficial, WHAT ARE YOU USING MONEY ALLOCATED FOR INTERNS RENUMERATION TO DO? Pay us our money!

The only unofficial meeting the interns had with them was when they received half month salary instead of three months salary. They promised we'll get the whole money the following month which was a lie. The only time the CMD met with the interns,he threatened to sack everyone...

We got about 95% of December salary after public pressure. Now our payslips say we were paid the full amount. Our bank alerts say something else. Why do our payslips say full payment? Which one should we believe? We're exhausted. @JAOOKENIYI Please just do the right thing
