YoYo deserved what he/she got. I'm going to place this here in the hopes that DHS reads this. You need to do what the military did many years ago when it comes to the vehicles. They used to have "impound lots" with their own "tow trucks". You need to fence off an area in the detention area as an impound lot. When agitators block off the entrance with vehicles, tell them to move the vehicle. If they refuse, arrest the individual and impound the vehicle. If you have the keys drive it in. If the agitator threw the keys away use your own tow truck to haul it in. Once its impounded you do an inventory of the vehicle and its contents. If you find drugs etc, during the inventory, the driver can be charged with additional charges. The owner will also have to pay an impound fee and storage fee to retrieve the vehicle. This will be a major deterrent since it takes several days to get the vehicle out. Word will get around very fast. If the impound lot is within vision of the protestors, let them holler. Reality will eventually hit them in the face as vehicles start piling up in the lot. Vehicles being used to assault ICE Officers should be towed by ICE tow trucks to a separate area of the impound lot for evidence. I think if you incorporate this procedure you will see less vehicle incidents. Once the agitators start losing their vehicles and can't get to work, appointments, etc. they can explain it to their bosses why they are late, cancel appointments, can't take their kids to school, etc. Impounding of vehicles is not a fault of law enforcement it is a consequence of a subjects actions.

The riots in Los Angeles were a highly coordinated campaign of violence — agitators wielded shields and a mob of about 60 rioters threw rocks, bottles, fireworks, and even shot at law enforcement officers! Rioting and assaulting law enforcement are not only dangerous but also serious crimes. By putting law enforcement in danger and creating a conflagration of chaos, you are also risking your own life.

They should do like the military used to do. Create an impound lot. Put a fenced in area inside the detention area as an impound lot. When drivers block the movement of ICE vehicles, they get told to move their vehicle out of the way. They refuse, arrest the driver and impound the vehicle. When the driver wants his vehicle back, he/she pays an impound and storage fee. Start hurting that pocketbook, they'll stop. When they can't get the vehicle back right away, they'll stop.

Some people are going to get mad for me saying this but too bad. Instead of putting her child first, she decided to play "activist". Got some BS training and went to Minneapolis to be part of an authority resistance movement. She interfered in "Federal" Law Enforcement duties to the point where they were going to arrest her. She refused to exit the vehicle because she knew she was going to be arrested and get jail time. She has a kid. So guess what, baby daddy is probably going to get the kid and she won't see her child again due to jail time and the father pushing for no visitation rights for her. So, she made another bad decision. She saw the officer in front of her vehicle and she made the decision to get him out of the way by using the vehicle as a weapon to strike him and flee the area. This woman obviously had issues and was prone to making bad decisions. Bad decisions have consequences. Standard procedure for Federal Law Enforcement Officers is when they are in a situation where a suspect or a person refuses to step out of the vehicle and an officer needs to stand in front of the vehicle to deter the individual from leaving, the holster latch is unsnapped. They are trained to remove that pistol and pump a round into you within 2 seconds. FBI, Secret Service, U.S. Marshals, DEA, Border Patrol, and ICE are all trained. Even Local Law Enforcement is normally trained that way. Maybe Minneapolis Police aren't trained that way but ICE is not the Minneapolis Keystone Cops. She found that out the hard way.

I’ll just put this out here. These are not local police officers. They are FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT Officers. They are highly, highly trained and sometimes do joint operations with the U.S. Military. They follow Federal Law and Federal Training not local laws and local training. They are going around the country enforcing Federal Laws. Obstruct them while they are doing their job and you WILL GET ARRESTED. Attempt to Use A Weapon in order to cause bodily harm to them or someone else and they will take you out, PERIOD!

Prior MP here. She backs up. She turns her wheels toward the agent in front and proceeds forward. At this point, the vehicle is a weapon, and opening fire becomes self-defense. She FAFO. I would have done the same.

BREAKING: The wife of Renee Nicole Good—the 37-year-old Minneapolis shooting victim who attempted to run over an ICE officer—appears to have been outside the vehicle filming as her wife blocked ICE vehicles. She is seen wearing a flannel shirt, walking around the vehicle and recording ICE officers. She later runs back to the vehicle to check on Renee. Afterward, she tells a nearby man, “That’s my wife.” When he asks if she knows any of her wife’s relatives she could call, she responds, “We're new here. I don't have people... I can’t even breathe right now.” Why was she outside the vehicle filming while her wife was blocking ICE officers? Terrible.
