@aabrami5 @LaurenReadVT @bfp_news The phantom whistle goal by Harwood really screwed U32, surprised the refs didn’t step in.

Harwood boys hockey caps rally with 2OT winner for back-to-back D-II titles, writes @LaurenReadVT --> burlingtonfreepress.com/story/sports/h… via @bfp_news #vthshockey #vtplayoffs

@allenanalysis He’s a lunatic, Pennsylvania must be counting the days until they can vote him out

Sen. Fetterman was the only Democrat who refused to sign the letter demanding an investigation into the U.S. strike on a girls’ school in Iran.
When asked why, he said he supports the war — and didn’t want his name next to colleagues calling it a war of choice.
He then spent the rest of the interview agreeing the strike was a tragedy, agreeing the Pentagon should apologize, and agreeing an investigation is appropriate.
So he agrees with everything in the letter. He just wouldn’t sign it.
That tells you everything you need to know about where his loyalties are right now.
English

@BiggLynch I don’t know the rule, but Scal said they called this correctly even though it stinks
English

@TolleEnthusiast Is this along the same lines as ‘pitchers are limited to 65 pitches’?
English

@BobbyKrivitsky Sure, but if I’m as strong as JB, that hand on my hip doesn’t make me flop like that..
English

That's a garbage decision for the other official to eject Jaylen Brown. Tyler Ford, the referee he went over to talk with, who is also the crew chief, understood Brown was upset about the situation. It's not Suyash Mehta's place to toss him.
Brown has 8 points & 7 assists. An overstep that removes one of the marquee players in this matchup.
English

@JustinmTurpin 2 things can be true, it was a foul and a flop. He’s gotta stop bitching at the officials..so annoying
English

@JellyBelly4353 @JeffPassan Because the Italian Americans wouldn’t make the US team
English

@JeffPassan why should I care about a bunch of Americans playing another group of Americans calling themselves "Team Italy". This is honestly silly.
English

@KeithSmithNBA Could’ve been a foul, but why exaggerate? Frustrating as a C’s fan, he’s strong enough to fight through that nonsense and his arguing is exhausting..
English

@FCHWPO @LeBatardShow Keep your head man, we need you! Fight through that and let Joe argue..

@dpshow @HiMyNameIsSeton Any serious runner (and most who run the marathon are) won’t accept this anyway. I ran 5 and didn’t found the 6th as I dropped out due to injury around 19.
English

"Between 18 and 26 miles, for me, it felt like every single muscle on my body was being pulled off one by one."
– Former marathon finisher @HiMyNameIsSeton: not happy with people getting medals for running 18/26 miles in the LA Marathon.

@dpshow @PaulPabst Menu today sounds awesome, love me some lamb tikka masala. Use the naan to soak up the sauce boys!
English

From @PaulPabst: if you could only eat one food (by ethnicity) for the rest of your existence?
English

@RepNancyMace It’s difficult to understand how this is acceptable behavior of an elected official. South Carolina, you can definitely do better than this. Grossly unprofessional and immature, makes me sad as an American.
English

@DolphinsTalk @flasportsbuzz Grier didn’t need any help with getting fired. I would argue his poor roster building led to Tua’s decline as much as anything else.
English

Tua got the last 2 head coaches, and the GM FIRED because he wasn't good enough.
Even if he is only a backup when Miami is 1-5 to start the season (or something like that), the noise from the national media & fans will be to play him.
JES and Hafley don't need that headache each week next season
English

There are more Dolphins fans suggesting team keeps Tua (as a backup) than I would have expected. I think that's totally reasonable; why deplete your cap space and sign a lesser veteran backup when you're already paying him $54 M and then have cap hits on 2 vet QBs? He's not going to be disruptive. Unless you're fearful he will get injured and trigger future guarantees, keeping him around one more year has no downside IMO. He hasn't demanded a trade. Many of you will disagree I'm sure.
Barry Jackson@flasportsbuzz
Why I feel even more strongly about this than usual: You have less than $4 M under the cap and 40 roster openings. Why would you spend several million dollars on a vet stopgap QB simply to "mind the store" and maybe help you win 2 more games? What the heck does that accomplish?
English

@NBCSports That’s a bad defensive move for 3v3 hockey, no one helping if you miss
English

@LouMerloni He was 3rd in ROY voting, dirt dog player, reminds me of Pedey..much better than Hammy. I like the is move, plug him into 2b
English

"Solid backup" who is a "upgrade over Hamilton at the utility spot". Wow
