@orthohouse123 @traumacito @InvictaOrtho Take out the nail, try reducing the fracture (must be an uphill task after 4 months), hold reduction with clamps, cables, ream with a slightly posterior entry point, and fix with a PFN. You might need some poller screws as well

A medical intern is not a student, and that distinction is often blurred—likely because the Ministry of Health seeks to avoid financial responsibility. An intern is a graduate who holds the title of ‘Dr.’ and must be properly licensed to practice-Dr. Asiimwe Frank, President of the Uganda Medical Association #MorningAtNTV

🛑 SHAMELESSNESS🛑 A minister who once led a strike over missing food as a medical intern is now pushing a policy to cancel interns’ pay. Some people forget their own struggles.

Wait, did they consider international students who study in Uganda? Like why are you subjecting them to an internship here before they can get their university certificate?!

You shouldn't wait to be in your final year or become an intern to say something. This is the most direct an attack has ever been on the medical students. This when left unchecked, not only drains us without any compensation, but cripples us in terms of options. REJECT IT!

There are certain decisions that once they are made , it doesn't even need a blind man to know that they are very poor and this is one of the top notch ones The ministry of health should do better , organize their house and pass the right directives before they commit a homicide Intern doctors work tirelessly in the hospitals through out days and nights and with the harsh realities of 36 hour shifts just to make sure that someone somewhere lives to see another day But how does the government decide to reward these young doctors who in most cases work tirelessly even beyond their job description? - scraping off their peanut pays Its a shame to the ministry and an insult to the medical fraternity of uganda The ministry should do the needful before implosion happens within the health sector

The aim is to try and do away with paying interns. But a father can’t keep running away from his responsibilities because his money is being prioritized for something else. In the end, the children will become delinquents he isn’t proud of. #SayNo to the new internship policy
NTV UGANDA@ntvuganda

The Uganda Medical Association has rejected a proposal to implement a six-year undergraduate degree model linked to internship for doctors, arguing that it does not translate to improved quality of the health workforce. #NTVNews bit.ly/4sxVCJ8?utm_me…  ntv.co.ug/news/medical-w…

The Ugandan government needs to reflect strongly on its policies. There are many countries we can use as yardsticks to guide our policies. Let not the desire to please bosses and be heroes blind us from the negative possible consequences of our decisions.

🔥 If you are a medical doctor in Uganda! 🔥 If you ever hope to receive medical care in Uganda. 👇 This should be of great concern to you! 🔥 Can you imagine that even this meagre stipend for a doctor who spends 5 years in school is about to be taken away? ✨ Oh Uganda!
