On this day in 2007 I left a job which had made my life hell and seriously impacted my mental health. This was thanks to help and support from a group of friends that I'd made online in a forum. Don't ever tell me that internet friends can't be real friends. They changed my life.

My son used to get strep throat on my work trips abroad. It was like clock work. First time, it happened in Paris. My friend recommended her neighborhood doctor. He saw us in an office that was in his house. (continued). My son was running a high fever.
