How can anyone afford train tickets in Ireland? I have to get an MRI at St. James's tomorrow and I can go by train, my wife wants to keep me company so two adults for a 50-minute train ride each way. Day return is €50.06 We can drive a diesel car to the car park in the hospital and pay half that fare. I want to do the right thing here but driving is cheaper and much faster.
