@BobFlavin @IrishRail This is everyday now Bob, gotta avoid trains from kildare/newbridge/naas etc from 7.30-9.30 and from 3.30 to 6.30 from Heuston. Most trains arriving in Newbridge for example are already full nowadays and no point even looking for a seat.

I’m on the commuter train home 4.25 we left on time. It’s packed, access to toilets is blocked by people standing in the isles and connecting corridors. We are only in Naas and this uncomfortable situation cost me over 25 euro to get my taxol chemo treatment.

@BobFlavin @IrishRail Hopefully it's going easy on you. The thing was in our case, the hospital insisted Mum went home on the bus ( 2 hours journey) while I drove behind. They weren't worried about young passengers on the bus!

@mackintalkin @IrishRail Not with taxol, it’s not radioactive in the body. You don’t lose your hair depending on the dose. A PET scan means you have to stay clear of close contact for a few hours. Small babies and kids shouldn’t be near cancer patients on the day of treatment

@BobFlavin @IrishRail Are you still radioactive for a number of hours afterwards? Brought my mum for Chemo, and when collecting her afterwards nurses refused to let her come home in my car because my daughter (5) was with us. 3 hours before she could be near a child.
