The Kazuya player exists in a permanent state of video game martyrdom. They knowingly pick a character with high execution demands, then use that "difficulty" as an emotional shield for everything. If you Win that's pure talent. Superhuman dedication. Beating you with Kazuya is basically climbing Everest barefoot, and they want you to know it. Lose? The game is broken. You cheesed. Your character plays itself. "I have to be TEN TIMES better than you just to win." "I spent 1000 hours labbing my Perfect Electric, I DESERVE to win." In reality? A huge chunk of their gameplan is a 50/50 coinflip. Winning a mixup doesn't mean you "read their soul", it means you guessed right. But the Kazuya player will never admit that. They're a purist in a world of braindead spammers. Everyone else has no hands. Their character is honest. Yours isn't. The result: an endless loop of frustration, ego protection, and zero actual growth. They're not playing to improve. They're playing to feel superior, and that superiority only exists in their head. @TheBigBroTea That argument would make more sense for a show like big brother where there are live feeds so you can parse through what's real and fake. Survivor can't use that excuse because we know that their editing is dramatic for story telling purposes with no real way to verify.

Jeff Probst said he doesn’t find live Survivor reunions after the season airs satisfying, so they changed the format so there will basically be no reunion at the end of the live finale #survivor50

@RealMikeHollow It doesn't dawn on me that a community full of men would support a man when it comes to sexual assault allegations. There is no evidence, it is just he said she said. Relying on "narrative" is a dangerous precedent for either side of the situation.

We got you, Shin. Anyone that bothered to listen and didn't just dog pile you would have known that the allegations just didn't add up. At the very least, people should have remained neutral instead of condemning you until things unravelled. I'm glad the narrative is shifting now, but the way you have been treated should never be forgotten.

I know there are people who have been tracking this story well. Were the Shin Blade accusations ever compiled into a document? There were multiple follow up stories iirc, were those logged anywhere? A centralized location might make community actions easier to reason around.

@Speedkicks This is a complex issue and there is clearly bias involved. When someone brings forth an allegation of sexual assault, it should be taken seriously. What evidence did shin blade provide that clears him of wrongdoing?

From what I’ve gathered, he has already been cleared defensively. By military and police investigations. He is already engaging in a defamation suit, which would “clear” his name in public opinion (so brands), and appears to be progressing despite dismissal attempts.

@GoldenGho5t Btw, achieving this in that short of a time doesn’t necessarily mean that you are a new player. Any top player can make a new account and get to that same rank in probably a shorter time. I think it is misleading to act like you just picked up the game 30 hours ago
