Absolutely agree. What’s even more epic: Universal released it as a double feature with another Atari video game inspired movie, “Cloak And Dagger.” The 4K discs of both are amazing.

The Last Starfighter rocks! I hope kids today will get to know how awesome it is. Needed a sequel. It was one of the first films (along with Tron) to use extensive computer-generated imagery (CGI) for spaceships, battles, and environments instead of miniatures.

Just finished the Kylie Netflix doc. 5 takeaways. 1. Her smile is surpassed by her spine. She’s as tough as steel. 2. Thank God Kylie has a family that loves her instead of leeching off her. 3. Michael Hutchence was the only man she ever loved and has her heart forever. 1/2

@iamslickrick01 My favorite part of going to Blockbuster: getting the snacks at the counter with the movies you picked out. They had big tubs of microwave popcorn 🍿 and boxes of M&M’s the size of a brick. It was great.

If Pizza Hut can return, then we can resurrect Blockbuster. And we should. While Netflix made things more “convenient” we lost something irreplaceable: The ritual of going to a place with your family or friends to choose a story together. That experience was special.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I don’t care. Purely as a musician and songwriter “Stranger In Moscow” is Michael Jackson’s magnum opus. It’s the greatest song he ever wrote. Nothing else in his or anyone else’s catalog sounds like it. Totally unique. #MichaelMovie
