@pickover Read it and enjoyed it, back in the day. I liked most of Heinlein's work. Probably not PC for this day and age, but 'it was alright in the seventies'. Or 1980, actually.

This is my favorite novel, especially the illustrated edition. Four playful, competent geniuses explore parallel worlds, using a versatile car, set against a background of lurking mysteries and danger. Romance, math, and more. Have any of you enjoyed this unusual book?

@pickover I read book 1 a few years ago and found it hard going. I thought the ideas were original but lost something in translation. I decided at the time not to continue with the trilogy and will probably stick with that decision, even though I can't remember exactly the reason.

Science-fiction novels. I'm currently reading this notable trilogy by Chinese writer Liu Cixin. So far, I'm in the middle of book 2. Did you enjoy this series?
