The problem i have with The Odyssey is that we didn’t get to know how the war started, what caused it and a lot of important storyline was either rushed or skipped and the gods were hardly shown just talked about..

As someone pointed out, they didn’t even add Suki to the flashback scene. So it’s like okay, you didn’t have screentime for her in the present, but you couldn’t at least acknowledge her in the past?

Culture in the avatar universe constantly changes with time and it’s nothing new tbh. In LoK in the wan ep we see airbenders ride clouds and have no bison, we see aang use outdated fire nation terms. Culture just evolves or time or die completely
